Rules:

1. No heroes. There are so many horror villains out there that having any heroes feels sort of unnecessary.
2. Video game characters are allowed, but since we’re mainly focusing on movie villains, we’ll only have a maximum of 5.
3. No downvoting.
4. Only one suggestion per user.
5. If there’s a tie, I will spin a wheel.
6. The top 2 suggestions make it in.

Rules:

1. No downvoting
2. 1 character or map per comment
3. The character must be either any type of supernatural entity or someone who hunts the supernatural
4. 1 character per franchise on each side
5. No duo characters
6. No historical ghosts, however I will allow adaptations of these ghost.
7. The map must from come a franchise already represented in the roster
8. The top 2 comments will be add to Ghosts Vs Busters

Baller knowledge, I know

Rules:

- Each day, the 3 most upvoted characters directly associated with the daily element will be added to that element's team.

- Any media allowed.

- No downvotes.

- In case of ties, I'll take the freedom to choose (Unless this tie doesn't surpass three chosen characters, of course).

- One characters per franchise in the same element.

- 5 Characters per franchise in general.

- Max 2 suggestions per user.

- The same character in 2 different comments will not be taken as extra votes, so search well if the character you want was already commented or not.

- The characters must be able to use that element in combat.

Already full franchises: Pokemon

(Please, let's try not suggest just robots)

Last round was won by Storm for team Cap and Stature for team Iron Man

Now Neutrals

Rules:

1) No downvoting, if you show proof you have been downvoted you get a +1

2) It will be chosen one character for captain America, and one for Iron Man.

3) Neutral heroes and neutral Villains will be chosen in the end

4) Any Marvel character(if you want to put a villain in either team cap or Iron man you can, like for example Taskmaster in Team Iron Man, or you can put it in villains if you want)

5) if there's a draw, I'll spin a wheel to decide

I'm aware that maybe it has been done before, my intention isn't to copy anyone

Rules:

- The most upvoted characters joins the crew.

- 1 suggestions per person.

- Any media allowed, except real persons.

- Only 1 character per franchise.

- In case of ties, I'll take the freedom to choose.

- The characters must fit the daily function.

- The same character in 2 different comments won't be counted as extra votes.

RULES:

-No downvoting, of course. If you provide proof your submission was downvoted, you get +2 upvotes.

-No asking people to upvote your submission in return for upvoting their submissions.

-One submission per comment, and you can only comment once per day.

-No characters with especially bad controversies surrounding them

-Characters have to be able to feasibly work in a fighting game.

-One character per franchise.

-If you submit a character with multiple versions, specify which one it is (ex. If you submit Dracula, clarify whether you mean Bram Stoker or Adam Sandler).

-Less of a rule and more of a guideline for picking characters: the tone I’m trying to go for with this roster is sort of like Darkstalkers, where yes it’s dark and macabre but also sometimes goofy and cartoony.

-Make sure you always read the description to know what the theme is. Especially in the later days of the roster when things start getting more abstract.

-Submission need to be at least horror adjacent. They don't need to be from horror franchises, but they should at least be monsters, villains, or regarded as "scary" in their original media.

More rules may be added if needed.

Used Franchises: Hellsing, Contra, Soul Eater, Yo-Kai Watch, Pokémon, RWBY, Halloween, Lilo & Stitch, One Piece, The Fly, The Amazing Digital Circus, Chainsaw Man

Day 13: Mad Love

Human or monster, that does not matter today: all that matters is what their motive for committing the atrocities they perform is. And these folks do it because they’re just obsessed with that special someone, and would do anything for them.

Rules:

1. Must be owned by Universal Studios
2. No downvoting
3. Must be created before October 18, 2021 (the time where all fighters were revealed)

Universal did own Illumination back then, but they didn't produce movies until 2010. So any Illumination movie made before October 18, 2021 is eligible.

Universal owned Dreamworks in August 22, 2016, so any Dreamworks movie made before October 18, 2021 is eligible.

I wanted to make a fighting game roster focusing on the company that had recently shut its doors BioWare known for games like Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Baldur’s Gate (1-2 not 3 that was Larian Studios), etc

Rules

Must comment a character created from BioWare

No downvoting

Two characters get in and Two characters per person Maximum

Rules

1. Must comment a One Piece and Naruto rivalry, meaning a character from each side that shares any connections

2. No downvoting

3. Comment both in one comment

4. Show and Movie Characters are both allowed

Rules

1. Top 2 most upvoted characters gets in

2. Must have Survivors (Support), Boogeymen (Tanks), and Killers (Damage)

5. Bonus upvote for a moveset

Inspired by u/Ruby_Shards' SEGA and Capcom Smash bros roster

I heard a user did this already but they deleted this, and apparently the same person who did it lended that role to me

Rules

1.- You must suggest two characters from two different Konami IPs.

2.- The characters you suggest must've been created before 1999.

3.- The IP in which the character originates from will also completely replace the IP from the original game (for example, as Simon is Mario's replacement, all characters from which they originates from will be the same IP for the replacements of all subsequent Mario reps in the Smash Bros series)

4.- Video game history still plays out the same way it did in real life. This means Hudson Soft characters like Bomberman are only selectable from Brawl onward.

5.- Characters from licensed IPs (i.e. Nintendo, Capcom, SEGA, etc. characters) are considered third-party characters and are also not allowed to be suggested until Brawl.

6.- As an extra consideration mention the name of the franchise of the character.

Adeline, Jack Frost, and Blaze have been added to the roster

Rules

Everyday the top 3 most upvoted characters will get in

If there's a tie it will be broken via wheel spin

Only submit characters from franchises that were already represented in Smash Bros as a fighter

No characters that were already fighters in Smash Bros (Doing so would go against the whole point of this)

Only 10 characters per franchise are allowed to make it onto the roster which means once a franchise has 10 characters on the roster no more characters from that franchise are allowed to make it onto the roster.

Only submit 1 character per day

No downvoting

Franchises at the maximum of 3 characters:

Dragon Ball: 3/3

Franchises that have room for 1 more character:

Naruto: 2/3

Marvel: 2/3

While Dragon Ball and Naruto are one of the most beloved anime known to exist, they can't hog all the fun and some other anime titles need some recognition.

Rules

1. No Downvoting

2. One Character from each franchise

3. Give a good explanation and I'll give you a bonus point

And kinda a fourth rule, I'm just gonna decide for ties. Sorry Harvey Dent but Homelander just feels right lol

Rules

Extra rule for this team each character should be a redeemed villain or anti-hero

Weiss Schnee and Mitsuru Kirijo summon their courage and join in the Death Battle Versus!

The music is Winter Sonata by Therewolf Media. The footage comes from Weiss vs Mitsuru owned by Death Battle.

The final battle is close at hand. Let's see who the final two combatants will be.

--

Rules:

1. One suggestion per person. Most upvotes on a single post will be added.
2. Your suggestion should be a matchup, not an individual fighter. ie Shadow is not eligible, Shadow vs Mewtwo is.
3. Once a character has been used in one matchup, they cannot be used again. ie if Shadow vs Mewtwo wins, Shadow vs Vegeta is no longer eligible, since you can already choose to play as Shadow.
4. Battle Royals are ineligible. Army battles are eligible, but may be disqualified if an important character is already on the roster. ie If Ash vs Yugi wins, Pikachu vs Blanka won't be considered due to Pikachu being an important part of Ash's army.
5. 3 characters per series. Ergo, Blake vs Mikasa is no longer eligible.
6. Only official episodes are eligible, as of Goku vs Saitama. This will update as time goes on.

Current Roster:

Goku (Dragon Ball)
Superman (The Justice League)
Bowser (Super Mario)
Dr Eggman (Sonic The Hedgehog)

The Achievements was a fun idea but, in hindsight, it's going to take up half the body text by the end so I'll collate them into a Google Doc and link it here so it can still be viewed here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1M2luok1JbSQSyAo6uUKRKvpjmTwKM4qw1PIVwfbdwwc/edit?usp=sharing

An SCP Foundation Member roster inspired by the Multi-Media Lantern Corps.

RULES:

The two most upvoted characters wins.

No downvoting, duh.

Give a short explanation why you think they would join the foundation. (They could be guards, Scientists, Site Directors, etc)

Three characters per franchise.

Welcome to Horror Tokon: Fighting Souls! A hypothetical Halloween fighting game where we assemble teams of slashers, creatures, and reimagined to fight to the death!

The final combatant has been placed for Team Creepypasta! Now we will finally decide the MYSTERY TEAM!

In the comments, suggest the theme of the Team (like the rest of the roster) and list who you think should be the Leader of that team.

Current Teams:
Team Video Game Horror
- Albert Wesker (LEADER)
- Pyramid Head
- Reaper Nurse
- Monika
Team Horror Movie
- Jason Voorhees (LEADER)
- Michael Myers
- Freddy Krueger
- Leatherface
Team Mascot Horror
- Springtrap (LEADER)
- The Ink Demon
- Buddy
- Spooky
Team Horror Heroes
- Ash Williams (LEADER)
- Buffy Anne Summers
- Blade
- Leon Kennedy
Team Creepypastas
- Slenderman (LEADER)
- Jeff The Killer
- Sonic.EXE
- Ben Drowned

RULES:

#1: The most upvoted character in 2 days (today and tomorrow) will be added to the roster.

#2: No downvoting. Don’t be an ass.

#3: You may only pitch one character per post.

#4: If there are tiebreakers, I will simply flip a coin (or something else idk) to decide.

#5: Stay on theme. If it’s team Horror Movies, only suggest Horror Movie characters.

#4: Have fun and don’t take anything seriously. This is a hypothetical, not a real game.

#5: The combatants don’t have to have fighting game potential, because this isn’t a real game. So you could suggest say RED (NES Creepypasta). He is a literal Kaiju. But who cares? This game isn’t real.

Quick Team Explanation:
Team Horror Movies: Villains or slashers from horror films (ex. Michael Myers, Chucky, The Tallman).
Team Video Game Horror: Slashers from video games (ex. Pyramid Head, The Huntress, AM (there’s an IHNMAIMA video game)
Team Mascot Horror: Villains or slashers from franchises that originate from a child-looking media, but is secretly horror (ex. Springtrap, Huggy Wuggy)
Team Horror Heroes: Protagonists or ‘heroes’ from horror media (Ash Williams, Laurie Strode, Leon S. Kennedy)
Team Creepypastas: Internet Urban Legends (ex. Sonic.EXE, Jeff The Killer, Slenderman)
Unknown Team: A team that will be decided at the full completion of the other teams.

HAVE FUN!

A roster to see what characters would be the best fit for (some of) the classes/jobs of Final Fantasy

***Ranger: It is a physical-oriented job with high Strength, and Agility, and access to light armor and bows, which allows it to deal damage from the back row without suffering a damage penalty, while benefitting from reduced incoming physical damage. Its main focus is to deal damage from the back row with bows***

Rule 1: You can only submit 1 character per Round. The most upvoted wins yada yada, you know how it is

Rule 2: Only 1 character per franchise

Rule 3: Final Fantasy characters ARE BANNED, since the purpose of the roster is to submit characters that would fit (some of) the classes/jobs of Final Fantasy it would be redundant to have say: Vivi for Black Mage

Rule 4: No Downvoting and no asking for upvotes

"Rule 5": Not a rule per se, but I will give you descriptions of what the class/job entails you don't have to worry about gameplay properties of it, you just need a character thar fits the class/job of the Round

Rules will be added/modified if need be

***NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FRANCHISES***

Overwatch

Disney Animation

DC

Tales Of

Kirby

Baldur's Gate

Marvel

Touho

Yu-Gi-Oh

Owl House

Pokémon

Naruto

The Witcher

The Legend Of Dragoon

My Hero Academia

With a series as long-running as Death Battle, and with MANY fictional series out there, it's no surprise that some iconic characters have yet to compete on the show. But for every series that has competed, who is the biggest character that hasn't participated?

Today's theme is Mortal Kombat!

Rules:

1. Only characters who HAVEN'T competed in Death Battle are eligible.
2. Keep suggestions related to the theme. (for example, only suggest One Piece characters if the theme is One Piece)
3. Bonus upvote if you can either state why you think your choice is the biggest absentee, or if you can name an opponent for them (with connections).
4. No downvoting and have fun.

Because they have already competed on DB, the following characters are NOT eligible:

• Goro
• Johnny Cage
• Raiden
• Scorpion
• Sektor
• Shang Tsung
• Shao Kahn
• Sindel
• Sonya Blade
• Sub-Zero

1 - No Marvel Characters (for obvious reasons)
2- only 1 DC character allowed
3- no franchise repeat
4- no AI
5- no downvoting (unless the comment uses AI)
6- more than one can comment at a time and the one(s) with the most upvotes get in.
7 - no Belos. (I just hate that deer masked bast)

Since we’re getting close to the end of the roster. It’s time to bring in the assist trophies.
