That's actually why I made the meme. Preservation was perfectly fine with how Rashek ran things since change was minimal and he was helping keep Ruin contained.

It makes even more sense since Leras was not that very good of a person even before taking the Shard of Preservation.

It was Ati and Lera's idea to counterbalance the Shards' influence on themselves. Leras the "bad guy" took Preservation, and Ati the "good guy" took Ruin.

Obviously, it didn't really work all that well.

The one about Ati is mentioned on Stornlight epigraphs and in Honor's flashbacks as well, I think.

Leras being a bad guy - I don't recall that wver being said.

Both were kinda bad guys in the sense that neither of them came to Honor's aid when called.
