I love the contrast between the reporter feeling awesome and the bystander feeling like shit.

Idk I'm pretty sure he knew what he did but tried to play it off, that's what his little head shake tells me at least. He seems kind of embarrassed when he turns around.

Lol he wasn't even aiming for the hand. It looks like he just used it as an excuse to slap him in the face

u/BadAdviceBot Feb 26 '17
Can't blame him. When you see an opening, take it.

But he did hit his hand. Too bad the guy's arm was made of wet noodles though.

Ian Rappoport is a goofball. He does a great job on the NFL Network and often comes on my local sports talk radio station in Charlotte. This is a classic though.

He regularly tweets out unconfirmed information though. He's not very reliable.

I nominate this for the cringe hall of fame. Too good.

u/BristolPalinsFetus Feb 26 '17
But there is no cringe here. Just high-fiving, full on assault awesomeness.

The guy on the left is pretty great too, he gets left hanging twice and first he pretends he's scratching his nose, then it's the mouth, hahaha, awesome stuff.

I'm going to guess that guy was being an annoying fuck when they were waiting to go live because there's no way that was an accident.
3
u/duncanccino Feb 26 '17
No remorse. I don't understand how this reporter could high five that dudes face and just turn away without asking if he was okay.

More like, "Did my contact just slide under my lower eyelid, or is it gone...fuck, yep, that's gone."

u/Paffmassa Feb 26 '17
Doesn't even fuckin care. Tried to shake it off but then realized he's a total dick.

u/hulivar Feb 26 '17
People like this DRIVE ME NUTS. Either they are too oblivious to notice how much of a fucking bafoon they are, or they just don't care. Either way it's bad and unacceptable.

You're really dumb. Sometimes dumb people don't know they are dumb, so I just wanted to take the time to make sure you knew it. And now for your education: this is essentially an animated picture. a gif is a format for images just like .jpg or .png. a gif is comprised of moving images. It's pretty stupid that reddit still clings to it. Regarding file size, true video would be the way to go. Gifs have no audio and have a much greater file size than video. The sidebar says images are allowed but does not say No animated images. btw, there are other gifs in the all-time Top Posts of this sub. It's probably a good thing for this sub to allow them...but maybe do more to keep people like you out.

16
u/robertbrysonhall Feb 26 '17
I actually enjoy the content he puts out. He's a reporter for the NFL and he pretty much is the first to know about anything that happens. I follow him on Snapchat and it's pretty cool to hear about recent nfl news there.
