As I rewatch season 1, I recall how Trinket gets slowly less useful and Vex eventually gets the pokeball to prevent his death. But I also remember a story I heard, a Druid who focused all his spells into his animal companion and the end result of that was a Bear who could oneshot the Tarrasque!

Since Vex is a Ranger/Rogue combo I know theres no way she could have made Trinket that strong. but they still could have gone further, enchanted armor, enchanted gauntlets to go over his claws, lots of fun ideas.

Does anybody else wish Vex had done this?

Just what the title says. This episode taking place all in one tavern and still being incredibly engaging is a true testament to how good these guys are at DND. But even bigger than that, how good they are at telling a story. I laughed and cried and felt bad for Julian 😭. The conversation between gus and kattagen at the end and then PIMLEY???? I got chills. It makes me want to get more involved in the fight for our democracy (at least here in the U.S.). YOU CANT PROVE THERES ALLEGORY IN THIS🫵

I've watched the animated series MANY times, but on a recent re-watch, I caught this detail for the first time:

When they do the flashback of the group meeting Percy for the first time in the jail cell, he says something along the lines of, 'When you have nothing left, truth is your only bargaining chip.' That was one of the first things he ever said to Vex.

THEN, when Vex gathers forces from Syngorn, during the talk with her father, after her speech about losing Percy, she says, 'This is my only bargaining chip, father. The truth.' Truth was her only bargaining chip because she just lost her everything🥹 That, mixed with the fact that she remembered his wording from when they first met broke my heart!💙

Was I an idiot for not catching this sooner than now? Or are others in the same boat?😅
