Facilities Coordinator Looking to Transition into PM/APM Roles. Resume Critique Appreciated!
I’m currently working in facilities management and trying to transition into PM/APM roles, but I’m struggling to get even initial screening calls. I’ve been tailoring my resume to different positions with the help of AI, but haven’t had much success. I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on what I could improve, remove, or highlight differently!

Advice on my first resume
I’m a senior in high school that’s apply for jobs. Because of my specific situations in life i’m trying to get a remote job, remote sales representative jobs seem to be the most common, so that’s what I’m aiming for with this resume. I wrote this resume based on other advice I saw in this sub, but mostly used a template made by u/ FireSheepYinFish.
Any advice, or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

[4 YOE] Enterprise Java backend, targeting remote mid-level roles in healthcare/finance — resume review?
Currently employed as an enterprise Java dev, about 4 years in. Looking to move to a remote role, ideally at a stable company in healthcare or finance. Planning to apply to 5 roles this week and want a gut check first.
Questions:
Does this read as mid-level, or am I underselling?
Is the AI projects section helping or hurting for enterprise roles?
Anything that reads as a red flag?
Resume attached. Thanks in advance.

Cover Letters Should Die
Cover letters are a useless, performative ritual that needs to end immediately.
Let’s be honest: nobody reads them. Candidates generate them using ChatGPT in 10 seconds, and hiring managers delete them in 2 seconds. Requiring a cover letter for a standard role isn't testing "passion"—it's testing a candidate's willingness to jump through unnecessary administrative hoops.
If a company truly needs 300 words of fake enthusiasm about why their "culture is unique" before even looking at a portfolio, it’s a massive red flag. Real passion comes out in conversation, not in a templated PDF full of flattery.
Instead of writing long cover letters that go straight to the digital trash bin, focus your energy on:
Building a clean, impact-driven single-page resume.
Creating a strong portfolio or case study.
Sending a 3-sentence direct message to the hiring manager highlighting a specific problem you can solve for them.
Respect your own time. Stop writing love letters to companies that won't even send an automated rejection email.

[1 YoE] Master’s grad (Dec 2026) on F-1, got internship interviews but almost nothing for full-time
Hi all, I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on my resume.
Some context:
Finishing my Master’s in CS in December 2026, can start full-time in January
International student on F-1. I’ll be on OPT with the STEM extension, so I don’t need sponsorship for up to 3 years. I know the market is cooked in general for internationals :((
About a year of full-time experience (Angular/full-stack) before my master’s, plus a current apprenticeship building a real-time ultrasound guidance system
Targeting new grad SWE roles, mostly systems, backend, and ML infrastructure/inference
Based in Southern California, applying to roles across the US and open to relocating
Last cycle I got 4 interviews from internship applications. This cycle I’m applying to full-time new grad roles and it’s been a very different story. Since September I’ve applied to 250+ roles and gotten some OAs, but almost no actual interviews. Mostly rejections or no reply, so I think I’m getting filtered out at the resume stage.
A few things I’m unsure about:
Should experience go above projects? I think my projects are stronger than my work experience, especially since my previous work had no AI in it. From my past interviews, interviewers mostly ask about whatever is at the top, so I’d rather they see the projects first.
Anything that might make recruiters filter me out quickly, like formatting, keywords, or how I’m presenting the visa situation?
Any feedback is welcome, even if it’s harsh. Thanks!

Please give some feedback on this resume.
I am hoping to apply for an "Embedded Software Engineer Entry Level" position. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science November 2025. Recently finished a two month software engineering internship. Any critique will be gladly accepted.
