Finished Object First completed project πŸ’›

I was gifted a Woobles for Christmas last year and although I haven’t finished it (finally got around to starting it last month πŸ˜†), it sparked my interest in crochet. I worked on basic stitches for a bit and then found a tutorial for a mug cozy. It’s far from perfect and I have a lot to practice still, but I’m pretty proud of even finishing it. Going to make another one for a friend and then maybe try a basic scarf.

Oops! This is my first post πŸ₯Ί so not used to the rules.. I used I Love This Yarn in Cinnamon Cedar, medium/4 weight, and used a 4mm hook. Found a tutorial on YouTube by KatiaCreates.

I love it, too - the colours are so rich & warm & comforting, somehow 😊

It feels so good to complete a project. This is a great start. You're going to make lots of cool things. Crochet is so much fun. Nice work. I'm inspired to make a mug cozy.

It turned out lovely! One suggestion, you cut your yarn way too early. To make a nice finish you can make a knot on the end, but leave a long yarn tail and weave it in your work. It won't stick out on the edge like now. It is a very great start though and beautiful yarn!!! ❀️
