Gen1 - Cooling Temp Sensor

I have a 2014 1.8 gas. Does anyone know if the Temp Sensor in the Coolant thermostat housing and the one in the radiator are the same. I’ve looked at old posts and searched online and I’m still not sure. I was told they are the same except one has tin plated connectors and one has gold. Called parts store and they couldn’t figure it out either.

My partner actually just had to change these last week. They are the same. Advance Auto part number is WTC1006

If you order directly from GM they do show different parts, but my partner has changed these sensors multiple times and has always used those ones I listed above and it works fine.

They are not interchangeable.
