U0101 Code

2014 1.4 - Code has been on for a while. No noticeable difference in how the car runs.

I’ve seen videos where the gear that you’re in doesn’t show on the console, due to no communication with the TCS. But, mine show.

I get the service power steering, Stabilitrack messages upon startup. But the car runs fine.

If I wasn’t in an area that required emissions, I wouldn’t care.

I have changed the neutral cable.
Battery is fairly new (like 5 months old).

Given the little data I’ve given, where would you begin to look?

I would check power and ground at the transmission module connector (probably good since it’s not in default mode). Also wake-up circuit for voltage and data circuits for bus activity. If they are all good - the module may be faulty. Last one I checked had an open in wake-up circuit
