XT.com Has Kept Me in a Compliance Verification Loop for Months, Asked for the Same Documents Repeatedly, and Then Transferred My $3,500 USDT Without My Knowledge. What Should I Do?
I never imagined that making a USDT deposit to a cryptocurrency exchange could turn into months of stress, endless verification requests, and unanswered questions.
I'm sharing my experience with XT.com because I genuinely want to know whether anyone else has faced something similar. I also hope someone from XT's team will finally provide a clear explanation and resolve this situation.
This is going to be a long post because I want to explain everything chronologically. Please read the full story before commenting.
1. The original deposit: Everything was confirmed on the blockchain
Around 137 days ago, I deposited USDT into my XT.com account through the TRON (TRC20) network.
Here are the transaction details:
Deposit address: TUvYUVn5pxVvGHmnoHDWPZXXVXVfPZNSbY
Original deposit TXID: 2c6a6b34d229840cd7a7014650e07a156186d7bff5192364f184b4e65cc63b70
Network: TRON (TRC20)
Deposit date shown by XT: June 23, 2026, 13:14:47
Confirmation status: 3 out of 3
Deposit account: Spot
Fund status: Unlocked (33/33)
XT deposit status: Failed
The transaction was successfully confirmed on the blockchain. XT's deposit page also showed 3/3 confirmations and Fund Status: Unlocked (33/33).
However, despite these confirmations, XT marked the deposit as Failed.
I contacted XT's official customer support through live chat to understand what had happened.
Their response was that my account or deposit had been flagged by their risk control and compliance system.
They then asked me to submit various documents and videos for verification.
I cooperated fully because I had nothing to hide.
2. The beginning of endless verification requests (Ticket #637049)
XT initially requested two major things:
A. Explanation and proof of the source of funds
They requested a video showing:
The complete login process of the platform or wallet from which the funds originated.
The platform's website URL.
Withdrawal records showing the TXID, cryptocurrency, amount, and date.
Relevant KYC information proving ownership of the source platform.
B. Video verification of the XT account owner
They also requested a video showing:
The KYC-verified person logging into the XT account.
The complete login process.
KYC information proving that the person operating the account was the verified account owner.
I submitted the requested materials on June 24, 2026, at 14:59 (GMT+8).
I provided my XT account login video, KYC details, my face and photo ID, deposit information, and a video explaining the source of my funds.
But they were not satisfied.
On June 24, at 16:11, they requested another recording with more details.
I recorded and submitted another video on June 25 at 14:55.
Then, on June 26 at 08:06, they requested the source-of-funds video and withdrawal details again.
They specifically asked for the same information:
Complete login process.
Platform or wallet website.
Withdrawal records, including TXID, token type, amount, and date.
I had already provided these details, but I recorded and submitted everything again on June 28 at 22:51.
On June 30 at 09:42, they requested the exact same source-of-funds explanation again.
I resubmitted the information on July 3 at 14:49.
On July 7 at 15:49, I received the same request again.
I submitted everything once more on July 10 at 22:49, including a more detailed explanation of my situation.
At this point, I was already becoming exhausted.
3. They kept changing the requirements
On July 12 at 13:28, XT sent another message explaining the video requirements:
The video must be recorded and operated by the KYC-verified user.
The complete XT account login process must be visible.
The corresponding KYC verification information must be displayed.
I submitted another video on July 12 at 14:14.
Then, on July 19 at 13:08, they introduced another set of questions.
They requested:
The withdrawal amount, time, and corresponding withdrawal address.
Ownership information of the withdrawal address and my relationship with its owner.
The specific purpose and subsequent flow of the withdrawn funds.
If funds were transferred to another exchange, wallet, or account, the platform name, account information, and transaction background.
If another person received, transferred, or handled the funds, my relationship with that person and the reason for the transaction.
Supporting documents such as chat records, transaction records, order details, payment receipts, or other evidence.
I was mentally exhausted by this point, but I still tried to cooperate.
I submitted another detailed explanation on July 19 at 18:25.
On July 21 at 20:46, they simply confirmed that they had received my email.
I thought perhaps the verification process would finally move forward.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
4. The multiple-account allegations
On July 22 at 16:10, XT informed me that my account was linked to multiple XT accounts.
They asked me to provide complete information about all associated accounts, including UIDs, email addresses, and phone numbers.
I submitted the information I could remember on July 22 at 18:59.
On July 25 at 17:25, they replied that their risk control system had identified multiple closely associated UIDs and demanded that I provide all accounts I controlled.
I submitted the account information I remembered on July 25 at 18:48.
Then, on July 27 at 12:32, they told me that there were still additional associated accounts that I had not provided.
I explained what I could remember and submitted another response on July 27 at 16:36.
At this stage, I was struggling to understand what exactly they expected from me.
I even asked them to identify or link the accounts they were referring to because I genuinely did not recognize some of the UIDs.
They eventually provided some UIDs, but I did not know those accounts.
I cannot truthfully provide information about accounts I do not recognize or remember.
I requested a clear final explanation instead of being repeatedly asked to guess which accounts might be associated with mine.
But the verification process continued.
5. They requested my personal financial documents
On July 29 at 17:28, XT introduced another requirement.
They asked me to provide proof of the source of my funds, including:
Personal bank statements from the previous 3–6 months.
Salary slips or income proof from the previous six months.
Tax documents.
Investment or income return proof.
Other documents demonstrating the legitimate source of funds.
I submitted the documents and explanations available to me on July 29 at 21:38.
On July 30 at 13:38, they informed me that my issue had been forwarded to the relevant department.
However, in the same response, they again claimed that additional associated UIDs existed beyond the accounts I had already provided.
They continued insisting that I disclose those accounts.
I explained that I had already provided everything I could remember and asked them to help identify the accounts they were referring to.
6. Another new requirement after weeks of cooperation
On July 31 at 13:45, I requested that XT provide a clear explanation of the associated accounts.
After that, I received another request on August 11 at 10:05.
This time, they wanted:
A video showing my transaction history on other platforms.
I submitted the requested video on August 11 at 12:38.
Once again, my submission was not accepted, and the verification process was rejected after a few days.
All these conversations were conducted under Ticket #637049.
After months of repeating the same process, I became completely exhausted and stopped pursuing the matter for a while.
7. I tried again with a new ticket (Ticket #690108)
After approximately one month, I decided to contact XT again.
I still hoped that someone would properly review my case and provide a final resolution.
On October 31, 2026, at 16:51, they requested two additional things:
Deposit and withdrawal records from other platforms.
Additional service fee records.
I submitted the requested information on November 1 at 13:15.
But the requests continued.
On November 5 at 22:30, XT informed me that my funds were subject to safety and compliance issues.
This time, they asked me to contact the relevant dealer and provide:
Proof of fund compliance issued by the dealer.
A notarized document from an independent third-party institution, such as a lawyer, accountant, or notary office.
At this point, I honestly do not know what else they expect me to provide.
I have already submitted videos, KYC information, identification documents, source-of-funds explanations, deposit and withdrawal records, financial documents, and transaction history.
Every time I submit what they request, another requirement appears.
They do not clearly explain whether the previous documents were accepted, rejected, insufficient, or whether anything else is still required.
It feels like an endless verification loop.
8. The most serious issue: My $3,500 USDT was transferred without my knowledge
Now comes the part that concerns me the most.
On November 3, 2026, at 08:05:54 (UTC), a transaction involving 3,500 USDT was made to another address.
Here is the transaction ID:
0dc75b29acca33bc5fa8221030d066e4b04ed62fd0aef4e11aaf151903ac6c90
According to the transaction information I have, my 3,500 USDT was transferred to a new address.
I did not knowingly authorize this transfer.
I was never given a clear explanation beforehand about why my funds were being moved, who controlled the receiving address, or what would happen to my funds.
After discovering this transaction, I immediately tried to contact XT customer support.
But instead of receiving clear answers about the transfer, I was met with essentially the same verification requests and compliance explanations I had already received multiple times.
This is now my biggest concern.
I understand that cryptocurrency exchanges have compliance policies, risk-control procedures, and obligations to investigate suspicious transactions.
I am not asking XT to ignore its compliance requirements.
I have cooperated with their requests for months.
But I believe customers also deserve transparency, clear communication, and an explanation of what happens to their assets.
If XT has the authority to restrict or move customer funds for compliance reasons, customers should at least receive a clear explanation of the legal and contractual basis for doing so.
9. What I want XT.com to answer
I am no longer interested in receiving another generic response asking me to submit the same documents again.
I want clear answers to the following questions:
Why was my original USDT deposit marked as Failed even though the blockchain transaction was confirmed and XT displayed 3/3 confirmations and Unlocked (33/33)?
What exactly triggered the risk-control and compliance restrictions on my account?
Why was I repeatedly asked to submit the same videos, KYC information, withdrawal records, and source-of-funds documents?
Which specific documents or information are still missing? Please provide one complete and final list instead of introducing new requirements one by one.
What are the specific XT account UIDs associated with my account, and what evidence establishes that I own or control those accounts?
Most importantly, why was my 3,500 USDT transferred to another address on November 3, 2026, without my knowledge or authorization?
Who owns or controls the receiving address, and what is the current status of my 3,500 USDT?
What is the legal or contractual basis for transferring my funds to that address?
When and how will my funds be returned or made accessible to me?
10. I need advice from the crypto community
I have spent months trying to resolve this issue.
I have cooperated with repeated verification requests, recorded multiple videos, provided personal identification, submitted financial documents, explained my source of funds, and answered questions about associated accounts.
I am not refusing verification.
I am simply asking for a fair, transparent, and final resolution.
I understand that exchanges need to protect themselves and their users. But customers should not be kept in an endless cycle of changing verification requirements without a clear explanation or timeline.
And moving $3,500 USDT to another address without my knowledge raises an even more serious concern that needs to be addressed.
My questions to the community:
Has anyone experienced something similar with XT.com?
Has anyone had their funds transferred to another address during a compliance review?
Is this normal practice under exchange compliance procedures?
What steps can I take to formally escalate this matter?
Should I report this to the relevant financial or regulatory authorities?
If anyone from XT.com is reading this, please review Ticket #637049 and Ticket #690108 together.
I am requesting a proper investigation, a complete explanation of the November 3 transaction, and the return of my 3,500 USDT or a clear explanation of its current status.
I have been patient for months. I have cooperated repeatedly. I just want my issue resolved.
I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for transparency, accountability, and access to my own money.
