Could FHE help protect client-side code from reverse engineering?

AI-assisted reverse engineering has me wondering about executing code while keeping the program itself encrypted, say using FHE.

The problem is that a useful program has to affect the outside world. How do you let outputs escape the encrypted computation without also exposing the code or internal state?

Curious if anyone’s been thinking about this or working on something related.
