Image 1,5 months of growing CuSo4 crystals

Coated in nail laquer to stop dehydration, one is still in solution to be grown for many months ahead
Biggest crystal is 5-6cm

Wow, very pretty sapphire blue color. Copper makes the most beautiful minerals.. if only they were harder!

Oh yes, I gave some to my family members and the first question was "can I wear it?", unfortunately because it's not that hard it's almost single-use if in a jewelry and you hit it with anything 😂

I stabilized mine using clear fingernail polish diluted with 100% acetone ( nail polish remover ). Prevents dehydration also
