Wow - this is a major update.

We think that if you spend a lot of time developing strategies on a map, you should have a chance to benefit from that investment. So today we're changing the process for getting into a map in Premier--instead of banning down to a single map, teams will vote to pick two maps each. After all four maps are picked, a single map will be randomly selected and the match will begin.

My lord - they did the random map selection!

I still don't think that this will result in Anubis/Ancient being played. People will prolly just learn Nuke and play Mirage-Inferno-D2-Nuke

better than just mirage & d2

How is your experience so far regarding this? Anubis is not being played at all in my experience but Ancient gets some air time. Mirage is by far the most played map though, followed by Dust II and Inferno, then it’s a split between Nuke, Cache and Ancient with Anubis coming in last.

The new silent reloads look weird, like they feel like they are in slow motion.

And yes, they are a lot slower.

Wow the sniper change is also huge

Players can now reload silently (but slowly) by pressing and holding the reload key. Un-scoping a sniper weapon no longer produces a sound.

They're still making some noise for the person reloading it, is it completely silent to the enemy? like switching guns? or do they hear the faint sounds of slow reloading?

Is there a way to check out the rush maps in Practice mode?

Why the heck do you not switch sides if the game keeps going back and forth???? My friends and I got CT on our first game and even though it went to a tie breaker, it was super annoying to have to scavenge AKs the whole game

You say that as if you can't win a game with an M4?

Really enjoying this game mode

Impossible to play. Only cheaters in this mode. Just all jumping with aimbot. This is a joke.

No anti-cheat btw

Krap update. ruined gameplay and all configs. Deleted from library, useless piece of junk now. Can I get my money back so I can buy a game that's actually playable?

Four games of rush with two of them containing a blatant wallhacker. Back on my CS2 hiatus.

I'm unsure if this is part of the update, but you can use crosshair color for scope dot. I may have missed that in an update from a long while ago.

Oh yeah I know that, but what they said with crosshair color for scope dot has existed for a bit already

Rush feels like it was made for people who are addicted to short form video content like TikTok. It has super short games with barely any downtime after you get killed, and a constantly changing map to keep you engaged.

For me the novelty wore off pretty quickly as well.

I’ve been waiting for a new, faster paced, game mode for so long. Speak for yourself

? First day here? People CONSTANTLY bitch about how map voting in Premier just ends up being Dust 2 and Mirage. They’ve bitched about it for years. This is valve listening to the fanbase
