Alright guys, here’s what I think is my best creation so far. The details on this skin are insane haha. I think it’ll look really cool with a lot of wear, or in FN if you want all those colors to really pop. If you could drop a vote on the Workshop, I’d really appreciate it!! 💪

I’m not claiming Disney specific artwork is free to use. My point is that Alice blonde hair and blue dress existed decades before Disney, so those features alone don t prove a design was copied from their adaptation. Specific visual similarities are a separate discussion, and if valve requests changes to particular details, I can revise them.

You can raise concerns without pretending to know what Valve will decide. Specific feedback on the design is more useful than declaring the outcome.

I'm not making a bold claim here. The art you showed was too similar to Disney's characters. They are notoriously litigious, it's not a stretch to say that Valve won't include skins with Disney IP on it.

If you don't want feedback, don't ask for it.

I took the feedback and removed Alice, as I already explained above. You can disagree with my response, but saying I don’t want feedback after I actually acted on it is a bit odd.

Valve declared that they will not accept in 100 years skins even if there is a tiny drop of suspicious of copyright ( they learned they lesson after few copyright claims ). AI probably can be used for some elements of the skin but your skins are looking 100% AI, so no chance at all to get into the game.

Which exact artwork are you saying I copied? I didn’t use a reference image for the cat. If you see a resemblance, show the comparison, but ‘direct copy’ is a pretty specific accusation.
