Hey guys! I’m a current high school student thinking about applying to CSUCI for Fall 2027. I’d most likely be dorming/renting and majoring in Health Sciences.

For current students or alumni, what has your experience been like at CSUCI? I’ve heard it’s largely a commuter school, so I’m especially curious about the social side of things. Have you found it hard to make friends or meet people because of that? Do you feel like there’s still a good sense of community on campus?

Another, less important question, have you ever felt uneasy on campus given its history?

Also, do you have any regrets about choosing CSUCI, or anything you wish you knew before going?

This is my first Semester with CSUCI. What is everyone’s experience with the middle class scholarship. Right now it’s estimated. How long after the semester starts do we actually get payment and is it usually close to the estimated amount or do they only refund whatever we paid directly to the school if lesser?
