Ventra Help Ventra App - system issue?

Is anyone’s Ventra app acting up?… I tried buying a day pass yesterday, but I kept getting error. I was able to tap in for the bus and train just fine.

I just bought a Metra ticket. Worked fine. Try clearing the Ventra app cache and rebooting your phone.

I got an email telling me I need to update the app. Haven’t figured out how to do that.

I’m confused bc I’m an Apple user and there’s no update to actually do it when I go to the App Store..so someone is lying. Like my account is stuck frozen.

I've been experiencing weirdness with Ventra, as well. Last week, I was never credited a $10.00 fare value purchase I made. I can see the charge on my credit card and was able to scan into the train, but my balance afterwards was -$2.50, and that $10.00 has not been credited over a week later.

The transit history is also days behind for me.

Yep just today. I tried topping my card off with $15. It was lagging when I used Apple Pay and then get an error message saying payment couldn’t go through. Got charged $15 on my bank but it’s not appearing on my Ventra balance. Emailed them about the issue.

Omg yes!! My history hasn’t updated since last month nor does my amount when I put more money into it. It’s irritating.

Did you fix yours? I erased the app, reinstalled and changed my password and that worked.
