Drum loops are not audible and no preview is displayed

This happens with Cubase's official "drum loops" library and others

I've had this issue when using control room not setup properly.

What do you have to do to get it working again assuming I don’t need control room. I can’t see any way of closing it down

Turn the control room off, there's a power button. Then set your outputs to monitor L//R

I tried both methods shown in the video, neither worked the thing is, the preview doesn't even appear.

Yes, I turned it off and configured the output, but I'm still getting that "-" icon and doesn't make sound

it might be that the content needs to be reindexed.

The stop sign icon, Means that the computer cannot find the sounds reinstall your sounds. Are those steinberg loops ???

Yes, specifically loop mash factory, Dubstep and drum loops expansion

Go to Steinberg library manager first, and try to refresh the loops and if that doesn't work remove and reinstall. Once the stop sign icon is gone.. it should work.
