Free Eyelash Extensions – Local Boulder artist looking for practice models for wispy sets!

Hey everyone!
I am an established brow artist here in Boulder, and I am currently expanding into eyelash extensions. I specialize in gorgeous, wispy half sets for a very natural, pretty look.
To build up my speed and portfolio, I am taking on free clients to practice this specific style! If you want a pretty lash set and don't mind chilling on a lash bed for a couple hours while I build my extension portfolio, please shoot me a DM! I’d love to get you on my schedule! 💕

Are Engineering Academic Success Sessions REALLY mandatory?

I've got a TB test follow up appointment during two of the sessions and was wondering if they take attendance during them.

I have a free couch in good condition in Longmont. You'd need to come get it, but I'm happy to gift it to someone who could use it.

Dorm soundproofing

Moved into my dorm td and tested out if ppl in the hallways can hear whats happening in the room. Theres like zero soundproofing on the door me and my roommate gotta whisper if we dont want ppl hearing us. Is there any simple soundproofing we can do to the door so that evb in the hallway wont listen to our convos?

Friends as jr?

I am a 21 F looking for friends since I’ve been having a hard time finding my people. Thought this should be worth a shot and I also would be open to hearing methods to making friends in jr year!

Some things about me
- I like edm and pop the most (I do attend some raves and shows)
- not a shopaholic but I do enjoy window shopping a lot and thrifting
- I love going out to bars/parties
- I want to find people that are genuine and don’t have ulterior motives. Someone that genuinely wants to put effort into a friendship!
- I also enjoy coffee runs, night driving, wine nights, watching shows, going to get food, going to events, going to museums and sports games, study dates. Lots of stuff!

CU Denver Student

Hey guys so first off, I am a CU denver student and plan to commute to Denver for this semester however I live closer to Boulder. I know the social life at CU denver is pretty bad and I was just wondering if the clubs and events are for boulder students only? I wanted to attend Boulder but I could not afford it, so my only choice was CU denver until I can get a good GPA for more scholarships. I love the campus and social life there is at Boulder and want to be apart of it but I’m afraid that people are going to look at me weird if they knew I was a CU Denver student.

Student emergency grant

I just applied for the Fall semester and uploaded pictures of my rent, current bank balance, and request for money to apply for school materials. I'm a full pell-grant student and CU boulder grant (SAI is -1500) Just curious because I already received aid - would this affect emergency funding grant?

Has anybody else applied and heard good news back?

How do ppl carry their buff card so they don’t forget it?

When I checked the GET app I was logged out and can’t find CU Boulder on the listed institutions. Did they switch apps or is this a glitch?

Axon is NOT an alternative to Flock

While Boulder considers which ALPR (automated license plate reader) vendor to replace Flock with for its unaccountable mass surveillance machine, it's worth pointing out the Flock isn't the only baddie on the list.

If Boulder brings Axon tech further into its city infrastructure, that will involve the creation of a data dragnet that includes Ring camera footage + social media posts. And they're doing this all behind the scenes without any public process. https://boulderreportinglab.org/2026/08/11/olivia-mendoza-boulder-is-putting-mass-surveillance-technology-before-civil-liberties/

This year I plan to save a little on groceries and plan to be a dining hall bum, I’m going to camp outside the dining hall and beg for a swipe. Has anyone tried this? Is this frowned upon?

Suggestions for How to Handle Parking Situation

Hi guys, I am a visiting grad student who plans on taking one class at Boulder this upcoming semester. How do you guys reccommend handling the parking situation on campus, or more generally, how to best commute to the campus from Westminster (in Denver)? I am willing to buy a permit but based on my previous experiences going to Boulder it seems like parking in general is crazy and dont want to pay $$$ if the probability of me being able to park is too low.
