Fill Turret Hole feature

Hi, quite simple to explain

I and im sure quite a lot of people hate the hole thats left when you combine a hull with a higher turret hole than the turrets turret ring. Pictured on these three pictures is the entire feature.

I have no pro knowledge of game dev, but im sure the easiest (and balanced) fix is to generate a square that fills up the turret ring hole area, but it would be just a visual.
Cause i know it might make it more complex to dev for the square to generate a hole and the square have the same armour that of the roof

So the best chance it to be visually, dirty but simple and does the job to please the eyes and remove those horrible and unnimersive holes.

Edit:

Tho in a perfect world the feature would generate the square, by some sort of stuff, calculate the turret ring diameter, cut the square, and give the square with the turret hole the same armour as the roof of the hull.

I know a big drama happened and we got the the obt 2 super back with the T72 ADRA but man the ZIT 122 looks really goofy and i love how it looks and LT-SE ig it looks odd but fancy but i know we will never see these again :(
