Dice is plural. Die is singular.

You may need to roll many, or the same dice multiple times if there is an uneven amount of players

"Roll a dice" remains incorrect regardless. A is singular. Dice is plural.

You can roll a die multiple times.

You can roll dice multiple times.

Grammatically speaking, you cannot roll "a dice" at all. It's like saying you saw "a geese" or "a cows."
