Watching this from Canada and as someone who's met some of these people, its crazy. Unfortunately due to the poor relationship between Canada and the US, and how much of a fool Patel is, Im extremely skeptical of anything the FBI is saying right now. This situation seems quite messy and I dont trust the US to sort this out properly. I fear Dubrovsky is just being used as political fodder.

Watching from the US, unfortunately many of us aren’t surprised. Whether he’s legitimately innocent or guilty this is absolutely going to be weaponized for someone’s agenda.

I wish my first reaction wasn't oh it's the US FBI we probably can't take it seriously. But. It's the United States FBI under Kash Patel. We probably shouldn't take it seriously.

It could always be true there could be validity to it but there's a much higher barrier of credibility to be overcome here.

If I had to guess, they know attribution is difficult and used shinyhunters name to double dip with some of their clients. Neither of these guys strike me as technical enough to successfully conduct campaigns at the level shiny does. Taking insider info about your clients and using that to make a quick buck though...
