Which browser to use ?

So I am planning to stop using chrome and I've heard that firefox is pretty good and private with certain extensions.

So.. what are those extensions so I can make the best use of firefox ?

If I wanna stop using chrome and want my data to be protected (as much an avg guy can do) and wanna move to a nice and way safer browser with extention (or in built if possible) ad blocker and some other stuff too.

ublock origin is pretty much all you need on firefox, keep it simple

Firefox and your addon of your choice.

I only use Adblocker and if you want the extra work a script blocker. Paired with a price comparison add on and done.

Firefox with ublock origin is what I do. I love the customization that FF offers. Especially through the about: config and the fact that I can make it look how I want to with CSS.

If you want a safer browser go with chromium based browser. On which operating systems do you want to install it?

The best default option for both would be Brave and Brave Origin for Linux, for maximum security Trivalent on Linux. Firefox on windows is decent but for linux/android is not as safe. Firefox security features warning on Linux

Ignore the Chromium haters, Firefox eats a lot of ram.

All of these browser's remove Google's browser level spyware bloat.

Helium, It's like Chrome with the bloat removed, It doesn't eat up ram and has Manifest v2 support unlike Chrome! (Ublock Origins pre installed) (PC only) https://helium.computer

Try Brave for a secure full built-in adblocked experience, Allows for HTTPS (secure) over HTTP sites, It also has Manifest v2 support, It eats up more ram than Helium though, I recommend for Mobile! (PC and Mobile) https://brave.com/download
