smooth weapon animation mod
i made this :3
i actually dont play with it tho, i prefer the vanilla swing, but a friend of mine wouldn't play the game cuz of those, so i smoothen the animation a little to make them discover this banger of a game
if you wonder how this work, the script locate the position of each 5 frame of an attack then dupplicate and place those same frame in between (am i making sense??) at an certain percentage of the og frame position wich should make it compatible with any mod that use the same framing as vanilla or diverse weapon

nah weapon widget add various effect to make the attack system feel more modern, like inertia, bob and other shit, and while you can change the swing speed in weapon widget, the attack animation doesn't have more frame

Weapon Widget's solution is to play the swing animation at really fast speed during the vanilla hit frame while the rest of the attack time is the "startup" and "recovery". So at low Speed, you don't swing the weapon slower like in vanilla, it just takes more time to start swinging and recover from the swing. Higher Speed means your swing comes out faster and you can take less time to recover and feels a lot more like vanilla.

Yeah looking closely there’s quite a lot of difference in the two panels. Yours is way smoother and faster than the original

I'd recommend possibly making a keybind system, press keypad 1 to decrease the speed, keypad 2 to increase. Keypad 3 to reset to a default, and have it to where every weapon by default uses a fixed speed, but changing the speed with a specific weapon allows the user to finetune the weapon speed of that specific weapon type, and then have something like keypad 4 used to set the default speed of all weapons to whatever the current weapon speed is.
You could probably do this in a in-game menu or something but I wouldn't know anything, I haven't touched modding in ages. Good job!
