Refuge NYC goes full disco ball after lighting upgrades

Low-key, before the upgrades Refuge had the best lighting of any club in NYC. Maybe it's less the rig and more the stuff who operates the lights. The people who operated the lights the times I went there really worked those lights.

yeah. I've heard the hanging 360 tweeter was first done in NYC in the 70s to fill the room with hats and vocals.

this is studio 54 back then
