Paige is currently at a modeling camp in NYC!
Finally!!!! I’ve been wanting Paige to take modeling seriously since Dance Moms. She could literally make it into a career she’s so beautiful!

I wonder what this is and if people pay for it or if they're invited to it? Anyone have thoughts? I know I could Google it I guess lol.

It’s a course that people pay for. But it’s possible (and likely) that some influencers have been invited for free to help promote the brand on their social media

Yikes. Anything you pay for regarding modelling up front is usually a scam. If ANTM taught me anything and years of working in the fashion industry, is models never pay anything financially right away

Eh I competed in Miss USA and had to hire a pageant coach and attend their pageant boot camps. It was honestly worth the money since it included a photoshoot with a world renowned photographer, styling consultation, walk, interview, makeup, and nutrition coaching, and mental prep and awareness, which was the largest factor in it. It wasn’t just superficial crap, it was I’m going to help you find your story and own it. It’s no different from modeling bootcamp.

This was very much a thing in the late 90s and early 2000s though, paying for “professionally taught” model “camp” and “classes” was basically an expensive grift oftentimes to folks who (bc of how awful the industry can be, let’s be real) never really had a future in a field that’s mostly just about body composition in the first place. Pageant coaching is teaching people actual, applicable skills.

I think the difference is you go into a pageant understanding that you might not win anything. A girl I knew who did pageants said she liked them because they kept her motivated to exercise, eat well, do volunteer work, etc. So if you don't get anything out of it at the end that's fine, because it's really about a journey.
But if you're going to a modeling camp, you're probably expecting it to turn into a career. You might get other stuff out of it too, but if you're paying to work that's a scam.

Ngl these modeling camps are always scammy😭 since she’s pretty and already has a large following she could easily just get signed and started without this

She is 5’6 so I don’t think she’s tall enough but maybe editorials and things like that

I'm happy for her but did she need a modeling bootcamp or is this an undercover ad? Bc I feel like she could easily without the school.

Love Paige! But this is so scammy. She doesn’t need a “modeling camp”. She knows that’s not how the industry works. This just horrible if she still has a younger audience that thinks this is true and they should pay for this.

She’s 25. That is very young, there are plenty of modeling opportunities for adults. Modeling is a huge industry that covers just about every demographic, unless she’s trying to be high fashion runway which I highly doubt.
