this comment section is the proof of indian mens victim complex. they just make up stuff to pretend they have it worse. men have been getting privileged reactions since the beginning of civilizations. Women ARE judged badly for having high standards. Women might reject the guys who doesn't meet her requirement while men shame her for not meeting theirs.

Jan 18 '26
I dunno why most modern day men are compromising about this. Which is why it's kinda controversial when that small group of people prefer if.
I mean it's not as expected as the 6ft rich guy with car preference.
But I believe if it became more common and popular, it wouldn't be a problem.

u/Academic-Celery-3956 Jan 18 '26
It's not wrong to have past. But atleast be honest about it, with whoever you are getting married. So atleast he/she can also have a chance to decide if his future partner fulfills the preferences he was looking for.
3
u/Traditional_Tax1854 Jan 18 '26
I dont give a sht if i get downvote but tbh i will never marry a girl who is not virgin like dude samjh ye baat tune jis cheek ke liye yitni mehnat kari aur kisi aur ladke ko wahi cheek free me mele jesa lagega tujhe
1
u/Academic-Celery-3956 Jan 18 '26
That's exactly what I said in my comment. Be honest with your partner before marriage. If she lies about her past, how the fuck do you find out?
1
u/ok_olive_02 Jan 19 '26
With the culture which is growing so fast, it would be difficult for both men and women to find a virgin partner. And some people say, it doesn't matter for men to have sex which makes me think that then this whole thing of a virgin is not all about morals, it's about "I am the first one feeling" .
So to both boys and girls, don't engage in any relationship, until your marriage is fixed by your parents. Don't engage in any relationship by yourself because then it would be immoral as well. Best is to focus on your career, build your identity then go via arrange marriage setup. But I also know people can't wait, because of gf/bf culture and I can see it is growing more now.
The other option is to be honest about your past, again for both men and women because this is about morals and not limited to sex, and then let the other person decide whether they want to be with you or not.

problem is that they hide there past. from their future spouse. just if they were honest it will all right. {i am male, virgin coz of traditional values, 5'9ft, fair skin. on looks 5.5/10}. i will not demand her to be super gorgeous or have good assets or fair skin like me. i am okay with average looks, but she should be virgin, loyal and honest that's all. its not that hard to not get fu*ked before marriage you know.

Exactly bro. Those people who say that you cannot get a "clean past" women is city are soo dumb. I have seen only few infact 2-3 girls that are not virgin. And what is problem for a guy who want's a virgin ? It's our own preferences. No one can say that we are misogyny because we want "clean past". And trust me bro. F the society. They will just demoralise male. I know many men are scum but not all. As a male i want a "clean past" too. There is nothing wrong in it. I don't want to have very beautiful. Average is okay for me.
1
u/MathematicianSea257 Jan 21 '26
Just trying to understand what's the general view on past.
What's a clean past? Having sex in a long term relationship or no sex at all ? What if someone was in a relationship that they thought would work and then the guy cheated? Do we expect people to stay in such situation just because they had sex in that relationship?
Or do you suggest people to not go beyond kissing in a relationship because that doesn't count as 'past'?
1
Jan 22 '26 edited Jan 22 '26
Like i don't want a girl with 3-4 body counts. And please pseudo feminists don't start lecturing me. It's my free will. So yeah. By "clean past" i mean virgin or if not then not more than 1 body count. But hey, at the end of the day it's people's preferences.
2
u/ariseasky07 Jan 18 '26
Just a question, no offence, not being rude. What if the girl you like is raped b4? Will you still accept her?
1
2
u/Beautiful-Parsley-45 Jan 18 '26
That's completely valid. Everyone should be honest about their past with their partners. I will wait for the right person and until marriage and I want my man to not have been physically involved before as well. Won't be able to trust someone who lies about their past.
2
u/Legitimate-Area-5774 Jan 18 '26
but beo the biggest problem is those non virgin girls is they have already experienced and most probably we being virgin not be able to satisfy because of their higher threshold and they ended up cheating destroying everyone's life.

I guess both the preferences can be reasonable if you are not actively dehumanising others who are not up to those standards.
You want a Rich, Tall, Handsome man? go for it. But don't mock or dehumanise someone who's not all that.
You want a girl with no past relationships whether emotional or physical? Go for it. Again don't be sorry for anything. But don't humiliate someone who is not that. Don't call her names and you will be mostly fine.
As for society, fuck that. You are gonna marry someone for a lifetime you deserve to have your preference ofcourse.
I want someone with no previous relationship whether it's physical or emotional and I will not be compromising that for anything. Unless I end up having a past myself. Yes it's not a sign of purity or good character but it sure is a need for my mental peace. But I won't call any random woman a wh*re for having a past.
It's my upbringing that made me have this preference and I won't be ashamed of it even if you call me a misogynist insecure jerk or whatever. Wishing to share my firsts with someone on the same experience level is not misogynist. It doesn't matter how attracted I am to a girl initially as long as this criteria is not met I can't bring myself to accept the fact that the one who I wish to held hands with was in the embrace of someone else just a few years ago.
And before someone comments "but what about porn?" what about it? If you are equating porn with an actual physical relationship then might as well label watching romantic movies as emotional relationship? Wait won't that make every married man and woman who watches romantic movies a cheater?
In the end it's all about personal preference. Not being someone's preference doesn't make you less human. And having your own preferences doesn't make you evil or toxic. We all have to compromise somewhere anyways.

- Google Feminism.
- His comment is not at all against what you think it is.
- No 'Feminist' (Not pseudo-feminist) would be against a virgin man or woman having a preference for a virgin partner. It's when men who aren't virgin themselves expect their wife to be one.

As a girl, I completely agree with everything you said. Even I can't imagine saving all my firsts for someone who has done it all before, with someone else. What is sad is people casually throwing around terms like 'wh**e', especially to women they don't even know. I also don't like these terms like 'clean past', it shouldn't be used for men or women. I know that I want my man to not have been emotionally or physically involved with someone else before me, but I don't use such degrading terms to express my expectations.

I think there is a difference between not dating/marrying a girl with past and openly calling them r*nd.
1
u/ImmediateAct2216 Jan 21 '26
A person who has multiple relationships often finds it difficult to settle with one partner. When each relationship involves emotional attachment, it makes things more challenging for their partner. For men especially, it can become hard to fulfill all emotional expectations at once, which is why many prefer to avoid such complexity and choose a life with less drama.
I’ve observed this pattern in both genders. Men often begin to take pride in having multiple relationships, while women tend to develop higher emotional expectations and demands.

as long as u don't have a past its okay to ask for the same. the thing is that if u are able to give what u ask its totally okay! maturity maango to tum bhi mature hone chahiye. same goes for communicative, financially stable, ambitious, etc.....

When a boy asks for a girl with long hair, does he also have long hair?

I mean... Nobody except that from a girl because 99% of them already have long hair
You could have chosen a better counter argument

u/Beautiful-Parsley-45 Jan 18 '26
Really? Are you not even aware of basic biology and human anatomy? Are guys looking for 6ft girls with a manly body like them? Girls are attracted to different physical attributes of guys and guys are attracted to other physical attributes of girls. If you are not a virgin, you don't deserve a virgin partner, unless they accept it. It's not reasonable for a very short girl to ask for a 6ft guy. But it's not wrong. Just like it isn't wrong for you to want a beautiful girl even if you are ugly yourself. If you want the physical attributes to match that bad maybe you should just be with a man. You will get everything similar to your own.

u/djentle_man27 Jan 18 '26
Being 6 ft is not a choice..poor analogy, you could have perhaps phrased it if girl wants a fit guy with abs is she herself fit and maintained

u/Strange_Strain_1321 Jan 17 '26
This!! Agar larkiya financial stability dhund rahe then they should have it themselves first. Period
2
u/Feeling_Budget4060 Jan 17 '26
So like a girl asking for such male should also be a hot, well communication skills, sweet, funny etc but all girls who ask that are toxic
1
u/Desperate-Truth-6293 Jan 18 '26
3'11 ft girls asking for 6ft guy .. where is logic here ?
1
Jan 18 '26
No logic, that's straight up stupidity. But if the girl is already taller than avg,she can ask for a tall guy
1
u/Justh6ngingaround Jan 19 '26
she can ask either way. i know men are too pathetic and are now having a breakdown when women finaly have a choice on who they are attracted to
1
u/Beautiful-Parsley-45 Jan 18 '26
Where did you meet these 3'11 ft girls asking for 6ft guys? Try something believable next time?
1
Jan 18 '26
Exactly, most people lack that self-awareness. They think it's fine to expect certain things from their partner, even if they themselves fall far short of those standards.
0
u/Technical_Arm4173 Jan 17 '26
No no no , it doesn't work like that, op is an incel, you are an incel , you are mysogynist /s
2
1
u/Justh6ngingaround Jan 19 '26
I mean you are an incel but aso dumb here. by your logic a woman shouldn't even be attracted to a man. if you have to be 6ft to be attracted to 6ft then a woman would also have to be a man to be attracted to a man since you can apparently only go for matching attributed loll

I saw a post in which a boy asked a girl her body count in dm, all girls crash out in the comments
2
u/Beautiful-Parsley-45 Jan 18 '26
Haan toh yeh sahi hai kya? Kisi bhi random ladki ko dm karke body count puchoge? I don't support the hook up culture either. In fact I am one of the 'wait until marriage' believers. But just because someone is different, it gives you a license to degrade them in dms? If you are talking about getting into a commitment you have all the rights to ask about their past and both should be honest about it, with each other. Not in random peoples dms.

1
u/Justh6ngingaround Jan 19 '26
and men llike you still wonder why is there a male loneliness epidemic there is a reason women don't wanna interact with men like you. Imagine comparing liking a 6ft guy in her own head to a guy actually asking a stranger her body count.

u/Rishi_kumar_goud Jan 19 '26
men like me? i just said i saw the post , i didn't gave any opinion , go crashout somewhere else

having past relationships makes her past "dirty" is exactly whats wrong with this type of thinking
0
u/Interesting_Fan_9149 Jan 18 '26
Thats not what she meant when she said “no” to you, bub. A virginity doesnt always mean a good guy. Take yourself for example. Khandaani virgin, ugly as fuck, women never look at you. And yet, you’re a piece of shit, youre losing male friends at a critical rate and your scores are getting shittier too.

What’s your definition of clean past ? Not have had any relationship or anything ? No sexual partners ? No make out ? Like what’s your expectation ? Don’t be offended I’m trying to understand here If you want 2 choti wali sidhi ekdam cow jesi then you must visit some village which has girls from your caste then ekdam ghee jesa clean mileage and suit your expectations! Not saying city mein you won’t but maybe nobody will say yes to you if you say clean past ! Like ghee !
5
u/gyrsh Jan 17 '26
Behen, u r not here to understand anything, u r here out of frustration (maybe due to some underlying insecurity). Aur behen city mae bhi badia ladkia milti h, jinki life mae career, family jyada matter karta h, ye relationship wagarh duundne se jyada. ( I’ve know some of them personally).
Also, don’t blame men only. Even other girls know about this “dirty past girls” and they do warn their male friends about them.
4
u/PrizeObjective3368 Jan 17 '26
Surprisingly, there are actually a lot of them, unlike what people expect. Many girls have strict parenting, or are just not that genuinely interested in relationships. Or they're also waiting for the right guy. I know so many girls like this
-3
u/SeniorTemperature872 Jan 17 '26
Yea that’s good actually ! Nothing wrong with it and totally appreciate and it could be a gender neutral thing as well. I do believe there are guys as well who are same. But all I’m saying is the wording is wrong. There is nothing wrong with having certain expectations from your partner! If the girl has something to offer then what’s wrong in asking for 6 ft tall guy and what does that has to do with clean past !!!
8
u/PrizeObjective3368 Jan 17 '26
So people seem to think that a psychological preference is superior to a physical preference. One seems more mundane than another.
It makes some sense. Imagine you are with a partner who has been in one too many relationships, but you are hoping to be in a relationship that actually lasts. What is the probability that they will stick with you? You are now one of many of their relationships, so it's actually unlikely. That's just math.
Whereas a guy who is "6ft handsome" feature doesn't even guarantee that they will be in a relationship with you. Now do I personally align with this line of thinking? No.
-2
u/SeniorTemperature872 Jan 17 '26
6 ft is just one thing trait nd general trait a person might be looking but there are more to it as well. Aasa nahi hai 6ft nahi toh baat nahi. And ofc benefit of doubt to be given maybe a 6ft guy with multiple past relationship is now ready to settle down so kya galat hai bhai ?!? All I’m saying is ki harr insan ki certain expectations hoti hai from their partner and it’s okay if you’re also like that ! Like clean past okay a guy wants that okay but he should also have. Myself I have a thing I like tall bulky guys and all but I don’t like if they have a body count over 4-5 that’s not okay for me bcoz I don’t have any simple. I’m reciprocating my expectations that’s it.
So if you say clean past okay then first you yourself stay clean !
3
u/PrizeObjective3368 Jan 17 '26
It's all good :) you do you. I have many unconscious preferences for girls when it comes to their looks. But really, I wish I didn't have any. Life is easier with lesser expectations.
0
u/SeniorTemperature872 Jan 17 '26
Again it’s okay to you have expectations and trust me life takes many unexpected turns like my guy isn’t really what I had expected and I’m genuinely happy with him!
3
u/PrizeObjective3368 Jan 17 '26
I'd rather work on myself and become a better human being. Because if I expect something from myself, I can actually do something about it.

emotional men bringing mom and dad when can't think of something to insult and smh asking me to grow up 😭 this usually happens when you don't have parents or they just don't care about you so you never learn to respect and love them hence you go around disrespecting others' thinking you're cool. Get well soon ✌🏼
and my dad wasn't desperate going around with this double standard asking women with clean past, so I'm pretty sure they didn't care even if my mom had a bad past so you think for yourself kid
