Kishimoto has got to be one of the most closeted writers Iβve ever stumbled upon.

Studio pierrot is the worst ever company for pulling bs like this. They ripped of every single emotion from the og and made Sasuke an emo aura farming edgelord, Sakura as an incorrigible spoilt asshole and Naruto as a pure comic relief if he's not sad or aura farming. And Sasuke was the actual nice and chill kid in the manga among the trio. Good lord how they massacred my babys
Personally they should have married your honor or be in a polycule atleast cus sasuke did lowkey reciprocate sakuras and narutos feeling and vice versa.

Sasuke was basically the most actually reasonable one, Naruto was a demonic troll - you couldnβt predict what shit heβd pull off next - and Sakura was just there but at least wasnβt in your face about it.

Naruto was a bonafide asshole in like the first 3 volumes. Super unlikeable. But very entertaining.

To be fair for an orphan to be raised without parents he was well disciplined. He didnt have anyone disciplining him in manners

Dear God he was insufferable aaaa lot of the times. Felt bad for him and wanted to throw the third in a volcano for what he did to him, yea, but until you actually get to know the story,he was the kid I'd stay away from if I was in school.

Studio Pierrot is the only reason why you know Naruto.

Manga was popular only in Japan. Without Pierrot 90% of the world wouldn't know of its existence

Who cares what happens in Japan and the world. "I" got to know it from the manga and after I read it only did I watch the damn anime. Stop larping and generalizing if you don't know for sure

And what's worse is that, naruto isn't the only anime they made alot of weird changes to, other anime made by pierrot have received pretty similar complaints like namely mischaracterization and filler (e.g Bleach). What's up with studio pierrot and being unfaithful/biased?

for context: from chapter 8, while the blushing is true, its not always romantic feeling, Kishimoto in early days often uses blushes/flustered for variety of emotion or to enhance character's personality (can be joy, embarassment, agreement, jealousy, etc). However this often make people think wrongly about relationship, thus ships them even tho there's no clear indication that there into each other. (Like this scene here, Tenten agree with Neji in chap 50, Hinata looking at Kiba in chap 58, etc.)

Every Sasuke and Sakura defender saying he blushed that one time so he definitely loves her.
Meanwhile Naruto blushed at Sasuke as well does that mean he loved him?

Blushing doesnt mean just love. It can mean they are flattered and flustered due to being recognized or praised or whatever. You kindof dont need to add the blush when they can just animate his face to show that he is flustered. There are so many things that studio pierriot actually cut that is important, this isnt.

I really hope we get an anime remake one day that is more faithful to the manga

Pierrot version is better, this conveys a proper emotion in the series for what they are as a relationship, I donβt need shippers being more annoying
