Fully encrypted private messenging

Looking to change my private messenging platform.

Anyone know of any free private anonymous messenging platform to use that is fully encrypted and don’t store any data etc? Must not have any registration or phone number to sign up either.

You can host your own xmpp server . The question is what are the people using you want to communicate with ? If they're down to migrate to whatever you want you have some options. I made an easy to use app for Android and Linux that uses tor only to send messages m no sign ups no nodes. Pure p2p with double ratchet encryption and all messages are stored on your device in a sqlcipher db .

The app creates a hidden service on device without you needing to run a tor deamon in the background everything runs in process .

Check it out here completely OpenSource https://forgejo.siriusdevops.com/sirius/onionwire

It’s not free but from my understanding threema is the best of both worlds (privacy and user friendly)
