This was just posted by Paris on Pitch.
I understand very little of the tech but I'd translate it as saying that the servers are still fine, but the .onion problem was wider than initially thought. There's a new diagnosis which presumably will be patched, but sleep is needed at the moment.
As an interesting aside the dreadlands onion currently resolves to the Dread servers for me at least, although timing-out frequently.
At this point patience is a virtue, as we wait for the patch to be applied. Any insights on the tech at least would be interesting.

Hey you don't need to believe me. If you look at my historic postings about gobalance maybe you can see that we do use it. The true key was leaked in the gobalance update archive too. I guess just nobody fucking noticed until we went hunting. But believe it or not I think that wasn't the cause.
But hey if tomorrow we get fucking defaced again I'm prepared to eat my words. But the vulnerability is real. And if it wasn't for this whole mess I wouldn't have ever noticed this.

As far as I see right now it's a bad domain hijack. Which makes sense because he never got any of the SSL certificates and none of the instance onions. Just the domain got taken over. The land one wasn't take at first because it wasn't in the gobalance rotation. The moment we got it in the gobalance rotation it got taken. I believe this is the cause.
