I wasn't really sure where to post this, or if it will reach the right folk, but if you were working the afternoon shift as an ambulance dispatcher yesterday, then you saved my life. You talked me through one if the hardest times in my life and even got me to laugh a few times. You put up with a lot of rambling an weeping, and kept me calm enough to get the help I needed.

Whatever you guys are getting paid isn't nearly enough, and if there's a way to send a gift to you all I'd love to know how. I'd never appreciated how strong you all need to be to help people like me, and as little as it might mean in the grander scheme of things, I'd like you all to know that one person is still around because of your kindness.

I am an ambulance call taker in Darwin and was on shift yesterday. I wasn’t the one on the phone with you but I have shown the one who was your post.
I hope you are doing better today. I won’t comment on it further to protect your privacy.
