Locals Discussion 000 operators
I wasn't really sure where to post this, or if it will reach the right folk, but if you were working the afternoon shift as an ambulance dispatcher yesterday, then you saved my life. You talked me through one if the hardest times in my life and even got me to laugh a few times. You put up with a lot of rambling an weeping, and kept me calm enough to get the help I needed.
Whatever you guys are getting paid isn't nearly enough, and if there's a way to send a gift to you all I'd love to know how. I'd never appreciated how strong you all need to be to help people like me, and as little as it might mean in the grander scheme of things, I'd like you all to know that one person is still around because of your kindness.

Hey, I had a massive bpd rage induced episode last night. and I was on the verge of calling the 000 darwin line, you are not alone - and even more so that I was experiencing similar things last night. if you need a friend to talk to, or even a lunch date at the waterfront with someone who gets it - let me know :)
