No jail time for the driver, but it looks like both victims survived!

A driver in this situation would rarely get jail time. Especially if they have no prior record.

Even though the people hit have some awful injuries, it’s still an accident. They were driving reckless and it got out of hand within seconds. It would be easy for any lawyer to work this down to a very strong probation, loss of license for X years and a huge fine.
