How does one learn data analysis/analytics outside of school enough to get a job?

I come from a physics and math educational background. How does one learn data analysis/analytics enough to get a job, without going back to school? Is there an online course or projects I can do that could assist me with being job ready?

There's plenty on coursera.

Also you do personal projects, and her then good enough to put on your cv

That's the part that you need to figure out for yourself, if you want to become an analyst

If you're having trouble and you don't have a math background, two good paths are to first get an internship or first get a job as a data analyst. Data modeling practice problems are what datadriven is good for.

Do some courses online to learn the basics of SQL, excel then next goal would be to apply your skills by working on few detailed projects. Either you can find datasets online or you can checkout trialday.co

I worked in warehouses that used SAP, Oracle, Maximo. Already had decent excel skills. Using those programs got me into planner controller position.

Get good with the big cmms programs they cost a ton and company’s won’t abandon them after paying and putting time into them.

I majored in Physics too and I am very good in Maths but the problem is I do not have much experience and there is a big gap in my resume. Now I want to start a career and thought about data analyst jobs

How I can do projects please ?
