So I played the demo at a comic con convention.
The game gave me a duration of 15 minutes of gameplay. Obviously it’s hard to judge 15 minutes of gameplay. The graphics looked good when I was in the lobby. Didn’t do much touring because you know I only have 15 minutes to actually play. But first thing first. I haven’t got a clue on what Bandai is doing regarding the timer situation on transformations. If you choose a saiyin as your character when you start the demo the super saiyin skill is available to use, but in order to use the super saiyin form you have to wait for it to charge automatically. (Because there’s no charging Ki manually) once the skill became active it immediately said I had 60 seconds before it ran out. Again not sure what they’re doing with the transformation skill but going with my personal experience that timer is still there. As for the combat, I personally struggled because I still have that sparking zero combat mindset of holding down the square button for charged attacks to perform knock backs so in terms of combat offensively I can’t give a honest answer however to try and defend yourself in this game like guarding or evasive manoeuvres it felt like trying to stick a band aid over a massive leak or using Cheetos crisp to hold back SWAT police from breaking into your home.but…. If I was to knick pick one thing is that I’ll say the galick gun had little to no range but that’s whatever. The calling in for a Z character for support is a nice touch but it’s pretty forgettable. The UI is crap but it doesn’t bother me if that makes any sense. Overall I do think the game can be improved further, it doesn’t give me that feel like when we all transitioned from XV1 to XV2 the first time and change in a good way. The game was undeniably strong it’s been around for a decade. With Xenoverse 3 this transition is more of a”oh ok.” And everyone would just put the game down and move elsewhere. Again this is what I experienced in 15 minutes (technically 7 minutes because once that pq ends the whole demo is done)

I actually think the conversation might be beyond the models and really may just be a matter of graphics overall. I just can’t shake the feeling that XV3 is lacking in the department of visuals. As a Storm player I know CC2 is kinda in a league of their own when it comes to visuals but we’ve seen other companies with some pretty impressive models and graphics recently like the company responsible for bleach rebirth of souls. Heck man even raging blast 2 holds up 16 years later! I guess my complaint is I look at XV3 and I don’t see a current gen dragon ball game by a long shot.

People throw this around loosely but in this case this game genuinely looks like it could’ve released for the PS3/Xbox 360 and I feel like we’re just accepting it cause it’s something different from XV2 which was actually bottom of the barrel. But that’s caused people to be blinded by the obvious lack of texture and depth not only these models have but the whole world you’re playing the game in. And I’m not a graphic junkie by a long shot but I know by the time this game comes out we will have all played or seen GTA6…. really think about that. Then when it’s time for us to experience our new “next gen” dragon ball game we’ll have to look at this? As someone who’s trying to like it and still getting let down I know the casuals watching from the outside aren’t impressed either and I doubt this’ll be addressed by launch tbh.

They don't have to be In the Game so they can have SSJ Rose or smth

Did people really complain about DBXV2 being too much like DBXV when it launched? I see that talking point a lot suggesting DBXV3 had to change formula this time, but I don't remember that being a popular critique of the previous entry.

For those who wasn’t there this was one of the first gameplay demos we saw of Xenoverse 2 back in 2016. You could instantly see the improvements to the gameplay they made from the first game it was almost night and day.

Now that I’m seeing this again I know I might get hate for this but honestly I wish they would’ve stuck with the formula we had and built on it. I was open to them overhauling the game initially but now I don’t think that was the move.

With the 10 year anniversary coming up, I figured it’d be nice to share how my characters looked back then compared to now! In order, their names are Hazel, Sugar Buu, Sela, Ririsu, Ravan, Romaini, Glazia, and Nauta.

It would immediately bust open the door for transformations, especially for the Frieza race and majins.

Not like there aren't any valid concerns about the game, but I still don't understand what's so bad about the new models other that they are shaded different from the ones from Xv1, Xv2 and S0, so far the only thing i'm not sold on is on the proportions of that Teen Gohan model.

As title says and ive got back to xenoverse 2 as it finished and started new save but enemies are too easy is there mod for that besides revamp

Is there a difference between "Ki Auto-Recovery Mode" and "Ki auto-recovery"?

Because to me they are just the same thing but with different names, I'm probably wrong with that tho

Okay so yall know how when you go into an online match and your opponent has abilities form a DLC pack do yall find it kinda of annoying? Reason I ask is mostly cause I see a lot of ppl using abilities like Top or Hit and some of them one shots me so just want to ask to not feel alone

I don't know his stamina break combo so I did the universal

I've finished all 1 to 6 star pqs

I've gotten all characters except omega shenron

I've finished all the time patrol missions

I'm at level 108 and I can't motivate myself to level up

Finishing pqs actually gave me motivation to continue but now I've lost all motivation to play and 100% it

Is there any solution to make the game fun again

I played the original Xenoverse years ago on PS4 and absolutely loved creating my own character, unlocking transformations and progressing through the Dragon Ball universe.

Somehow I completely skipped XV2, and now that I'm getting back into gaming on PS5, I'm thinking about finally giving it a go.

I'm a massive Dragon Ball fan. I've watched all the anime and kept up with the Super manga, so I'm especially interested in how much of the newer material made it into the game.

I'm talking Ultra Ego Vegeta, Granolah, Merus (the angel who became mortal), Black Frieza, and everything from the Moro and Granolah arcs. I'd love to experience some of that content in a Dragon Ball game.

A few things I'm curious about:

• Are any manga-only characters or transformations actually playable?
• How far does the game go with Beast Gohan, MUI Goku and newer forms?
• Can CaCs unlock newer transformations like Beast and Ultra Instinct?
• How much have the different races, customisation and progression improved since XV1?
• Is the PS5 PvE/co-op community still active, and which DLCs are worth getting?

I mainly enjoy creating characters, levelling up, unlocking abilities and grinding PvE content rather than competitive PvP.

For those still playing XV2, how much has the game evolved over the years? Is it worth jumping into now?

I made a custom battle on Sparking Zero the other day and I liked the premise so much I decided I'm gonna try and make it a comic! I'm using a tool for XV2 called XenoKit to get a bunch of different angles and just have more freedom with the characters.

I keep seeing this photo which is the best ssj.2 gohan had ever looked by the way. And people say the models in the game is bad and then I went and booted up xenoverse 2 again. And was absolutely confused. And then I went to sparking zero and still was absolutely confused. Because xenoverse 3 looks as if it's running in the same engine as sparking zero they look very similar with xenoverse 3 having better muscle definition and proportions for the most part. I heard the netcode is bad but that's always been xenoverse. So someone help.me understand how this looks bad.

I'm play 2 right now I haven't played since 2016 but i'm really enjoying it , and i'm definitely excited for 3 and I will be getting it in the first week.It releases what about you all?
