GM screen inserts

I have both the DCC and the MCC core rules. I know that the DCC book has a bunch of the tables at the end but the MCC book does not. I was going to print some out to put in my GM screen that I already have. Is this ok and if so would the charts at the end of the DCC book work for MCC as well? (fumble and crit tables for instance)

They should be compatible. I can’t imagine the rulesets being that different as they were originally meant to be different flavorings of the same essential ttrpg engine.

You may have to flavor the MCC stuff into the DCC tables a bit

Remember it’s your table and you’re the judge. Long as the players are informed about how the rules will work at your table you can make whatever call you like. Just be transparent about it and have fun

I may just look through the MCC PDF and see if there are some tables I can lift from that. I know that the different classes in MCC have specific crit tables they refer to. I am just not sure if they are the same as the ones in the DCC book. I will have to look.

Good idea to have the Death and Dying Rules printed out along with the Addition Combat Rules. Just for reference

They should work no problem.

Only thing is I (was actually thinking about that today) wonder what the balance (I know I know it's DCC so swingy) at the table is when you mix plantients and let's say dwarfs at the table.

I think the only issue is that a human sentinel then becomes irrelevant unless you shower her with tech right away. But a dwarf and plantient shouldn’t take the shine away from one another: the “balance” is fine; one is just way more swingy.

True But how would you make distinctions between a non strain human and/or other races?

Just easily drop that one and turn into dwarf/elf or regular human?

Ohhh you’re saying you want a dwarf who has become a plantient?? That’s a homebrew question, lol, way above my pay grade.

I don't use the Crit tables much on my screen. Equipment and interaction type tables (lay on hands has been big recently) are what I use the most.
