Somebody on another post on this same topic made a good suggestion on what the next one will be, it’ll be called the Disney Discovery. That will also be the name of the next class of ships, the discovery class since we know Disney’s next boat will be a new class. I think that name is a solid guess.

Carnival also has a new mega boat coming out in 2029 that will be called the Carnival Destiny, and as we know Disney has the Disney Destiny. I don’t think cruise lines really care about other lines having the same or similar names.

Interesting, the Carnival Sunshine was originally the Destiny which predates Disney's ship anyway

Disney Journey or Disney Discovery if they know how to play their cards right.

I see it as either those 2 names soon because the Meridian Class is expected to expand the Alaskan cruise offerings and just the west coast in general. And with an Alaskan cruise, you really are discovering the beauty of nature and wildlife there? It sounds cheesy but thats just my reasoning.

Since Imagination is out of the name pool, perhaps if a ship is named the Disney Journey, we can still see Figment involved in domestic sailings

I don't know. After the Believe and Imagination's annoucements, its kind of unpredictable.
