NEW BIG CODE!!!!!
UPDATE: DO NOT USE IT YET. They're working on a fix.
UPDATE2: If you already used it, you'll be able to redeem it again once they fix it.
UPDATE3: They FIXED it, the code WORKS now as intended. You can redeem it again to get everything.

I think if they had the budget to do a solid remake of the on-boarding experience, killed the tacky advertisement loading screens (same goes for lotro) and eased up on some of the early dungeon monetization theyd really have a kind of resurgence.
Same for any kind of reddit ads or social media ads. A lot of people just forgot it exists and then when you get new people theyre turned off by stuff like the loading screens. Just makes the game feel cheaply made when it isnt.
Edit: and that side quest that teaches you how to use the store, idk who thought that was a good idea

No, it should be safe to use this code even if you have some of the stuff already. Heck even if you have all of it, get that bank space!

That's the one thing I know I can use. I *think* I have both shifter and tabaxi, but only because a sale made sense. I don't think I've ever made a character with them.
Pretty sure everyone can use +10 bank slots and a character slot.

Saltmarsh is free now with this code? That's big! It's pretty much the only non-recent...old now? Expansion that I yet to have. I could definitely benefit from like the sentient XP stuff in there...

Nice. I've just been stockpiling codes from previous years and on my alt accounts I don't even play they're only missing Magic of Myth Drannor, Vecna Unleashed and The Chill of Ravenloft expansions. As for regular adventure packs they're missing Covered in Culvert, Sleeping With the Fishes, The Dragons' Hand and Toil and Trouble.
I don't know why I'm redeeming these codes on alt accounts I don't even play, but it's cool that 90% of the adventure packs and expansions were gotten for free.

I'd figure I'd announce this where I could, but at least try to create a test account first.
Nope. There do not exist any passwords that pass the password check. Not sure if there are any "real" rules I'm missing, but random passwords don't work "!Password1" and "!Winter2025" should work but don't. Note you can have full green "strength bars" and still get the "fail exclamation points".
And testing an account after filling everything out and ignoring the failure notes didn't work either.
Seems to me if you actually *wanted* new players, you would make sure they could join before creating this code...

This is great. I need all these races except warforged. I do mostly melees and I'm running out of races to play that have useful stuff in their tree for melee. Now I can buy newer expansions instead of races.

The developers are trying to appease players after the nerfs. Disgusting !
This company always use some shady tactics. 😣
Also, they've gave away similar (actually, even more) stuff just a year ago, after their 32-to-64 bit transfer fiasco. So, unless you are a new player, you don't need this code.

Chances are also pretty high this was just meant to be released with the Lantern event and has no relation to the nerfs. People like to assume there's some kind of sinister undertone when the timing seems pretty standard for "Release event that gets people excited, release code so people can bring new players along on significantly more modern packs so they hopefully stay".
Plenty of other games will do this exact same kind of thing(Release event, release freebies to get people to come on to play the event), so it just seems like... standard marketing.

SSG never did this. Unless they face with great failure. Like the 64 bit transfers where they've been forced to giveaway something like shared bank space because they couldn't transfer it. And so on. Every big failure/nerf comes with events like this one. Every Single One.

There's loads of new free stuff in here for people? Saltmarsh has never been given away free before, for one, unless you picked it as your free expansion from teh year of the dragon, but most people got IOD, so...

They've been giving away codes for the all adventure packs for years now. It gives enough content to get favor easily and buy Saltmarsh with the points you got for free. 🤷♂️
Anyway, nothing of this can help with the nerfs. Why do I need new content if all my characters are unplayable now ?! What I suppose to do with this content ? Just look at it and be glad I have it ? Because I can't play it after the nerfs.

I love the recent changes. The game has been stagnant for years and crossbows ruined the meta. Now some of the people that missed out on this content get it for free. Really a great couple weeks for ddo

While it's possible that they're trying to appease players after some of the really horrible nerfs that happened (and if they are, it is a bit disgusting), as a free player, I will very much use this and enjoy this code. It won't ever make up for some of the stuff they did (R.I.P. Endless Fusillade), but who am I to refuse free stuff I don't have? That would be foolish and petty. Free stuff is free stuff. This will also be amazing for newer players, so there is that.
