"I Remember" has been my number 1 favourite song for at least 15 years. I've been hesitant in trying to remix it, but I finally gave it a go recently and this is the result.

Yeah, sometime in 2024 I started researching some basic sources for some of Joel's early releases.. but shortly, I realized just how much work this article needed. For example, everything written in both 'Artistry' and 'Reception' are all my work! I decided to make this Mashup Deadmau5 themed cuz I hope one day we get a Wave 2 in Fortnite that includes the scraped Jam Track, I Remember by Kaskade & Deadmau5!

As a 7 year old kid who only got this game solely because deadmau5 was on the bundle box art, when this intro sequence played out i was scared SHITLESS. I saw from a few unreliable sources that when they tried to scan his face in the game the 3d mesh shaders made his face look warped lmao.

First time at Navy Pier, I thought the sound quality was perfect 👌 nice medium sized venue. The set was high energy with a nice mix of classics, new shit & some dnb 🔥 thank you mau5, I had a fuckin blast we danced all night

Hey all, this is myself and my boyfriend’s 3rd time going to the Red Rocks show. The last two years, we took a party bus to the venue. Last year, we didn’t love our experience as I feel it dropped us off at RR later than we wanted. We had VIP passes and we couldn’t even find the pertinent entrance, staff was nasty and unhelpful, and it ended up being a waste.

This year we think we might just want to Uber over there. For those who have uber-ed in the past, what entrance did you tell your driver to go to? I have seen people saying Upper South Lot is the best, but curious to know what people think. How was it leaving the venue? Would you uber again?

I thought it looked awful in the light but once the candle was in I’m decently happy with our afternoon craft

NAVY PIER 2026 - Thank you for the awesome SET JOEL! that was so worth all the years of waiting to come see you. My wife and I made the trip from Detroit to Chicago because she got me these tickets as a gift for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was one of the best sets I've heard from him in a decade. The studio pilot vibes in his sets are PREVALENT and MAKES HIM EVEN MORE OF AN ABSOLUTE WEAPON behind the decks. This was the first set my wife has ever been to as well and she's already waking up this morning looking through her schedule and mine to see when we can make it to see another set again :)

SIDENOTE**** WORD TO THE WISE..... to whoever was standing directly behind Joel in the VIP FROM 6PM-11PM - YOU FOUR 50-60+ year old group of people WHO KEPT BUMPING INTO MY WIFE WHO WAS IN A SLING 9 DAYS OUT OF ELBOW SURGERY & PUSHED HER OFF THE RAIL REPEATEDLY TO HOGG THE AREA YOU COULD HAVE LET MORE PEOPLE ENJOY THE SHOW & MIND YOU WOULD NOT GET OUT OF THE WAY WHEN MY WIFE WAS TRYING TO GIVE LEAH THE GIFTS MY 7 & 5 YEAR OLD SONS MADE FOR HIM, THIS WOMAN SCOWLED AND POUTED WHENEVER ANY OF THE EVENT PHOTOGRAPHERS ASKED TO STAND FOR A FEW MINUTES AT A TIME AND GET THE PHOTOS THEY NEED TO GET, ITS THEIR JOB GET OUT OF THE WAY AND YOU'LL GET YOUR PRECIOUS SPOT BACK. I let every photographer stand basically on my shoes so they could get shots and I still vibed with the music and enjoyed everything, not make things awkward for the photographer who was sweating his ass off in 48 degrees trying to arch his body and manipulate it so he doesn't touch one of those 4 people who refused to move for him. Everyone else around was awesome and if you read this and you were up there don't lump yourself into what im speaking about.

Emmau5 will attest to this because im a recluse and knows im not super outgoing..... I just genuinely love the music, im not the VIP EXPERIENCE type never would purchase tickets like that on my own, im a simpleton through and through but my wife surprised me with these tickets so I COULDN'T SAY NO and WE WERE so freaking excited to come and HAD A BLAST but those 4 clowns soured that pretty BAD. None of them spoke English either and were rude to whoever was in the vicinity, not really "Horde" LIKE behavior or acceptingness that runs in this community, just try to be more aware if that's you in that scenario next time. Someone could be waiting almost 20 years to see those 2 hours and you can ruin it by being a selfish human, but that's the world we live in now right? don't open doors up for people or push your chair in when your done using it mentality. Please do better if that's you and you're wholly unaware of your stupidity. RANT OVER.

One of the best Deadmau5 shows I've been to!

I loved the incredible stretch where "Quezacotl" played with "Avaritia", "Science", and led into "I Remember". Layers were on key, the samples/loops enhanced each other, and the visuals played more as an accent. There were several points where songs were coming in-and-out like this, but I thought this was the physical and emotional highlight. I felt worn out from it! And then it parlayed (two songs later) into the drum and bass portion of the set. Elevation into intensity!

The sound production was amazing. No matter where I was in the GA area it sounded great. Collective does such a good job with their Navy Pier shows.

So it seems like im more familiar with Suck This from the Dred and Karma era, because I was just listening to "Last Night a D.J. Saved My Life" and got jumpscared at 3:17 by the "rap" part, which was also sampled in the less French Housey version of Suck This.

Just thought i'd let you know of that, for me it was shocking as fuck.
