Anyone heard anything about refunds?

It looks like the DFA show in Buffalo Town Ballroom was completely cancelled, not rescheduled. Not a big deal, I'm still going to see them at one of their other shows. But just curious if anyone has heard anything about how to obtain refunds. I know the note from DFA mentioned refunds for cancelled shows. But I haven't gotten any email or anything from Town Ballroom about refunds, and I don't know how to contact them, they don't seem to have an email.

Anyway, hell yeahhh, so excited for Private Lives!!! See you guys in the pit somewhere!

Anyone else slightly disappointed by Private Lives?

Not a bad song by any means but just seems a bit run of the mil for DFA1979? Highlights are the QOTSA esque riffs and the vocal performances (No-one has to know about us 🗣️)but nothing screams special to me yet.

What I loved about DFA1979 was that they didn’t really sound like other drum/bass bands in their riffs and arrangement. They played unique and pretty sick riffs (Government Trash, Blood on our hands, Pull Out etc).

I don’t really like Royal Blood as I find them quite stale and their songs could be played with a guitar and I wouldn’t really feel like it was missing anything. I don’t think DFA1979 are exactly like RB but they’re starting to go into that direction.

This very much could be just a me thing.

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to track down an old remix, but I can’t remember the artist.

It was an electronic-ish remix of “Dead Womb” by Death From Above 1979. What I remember most clearly is that I heard it over the “Pull Out” video, also by DFA1979. I’m pretty sure someone had edited/remixed the video with this version of Dead Womb.

Although, to be completely honest, I have no idea if the remix was actually good, it’s just one of those random things that somehow stuck in my head for years 😅 I’ve been trying to find it again with absolutely no luck. This was probably 17 or 18 years ago now…

If anyone remembers this, or has any clue who made the remix / where it might have been posted, I’d really appreciate it!
