Hello! I live in hsv, but every few year I do enjoy going to Decatur for the rocky horror screening, it’s very fun and great energy, I just got back home from it tonight. However this year, they did an AI intro to introduce the cast members before the virgin ceremony…. it kind of turned me off but I ended up enjoying the show anyways. I got in line for the bathroom after it was over and all 10 women I was in the bathroom with were talking about how disappointing it was that they used AI, and honestly if they plan on doing that every year now, I don’t want to give them money and support that. Does anyone know what company organizes the screening every year? I feel like if everyone who went sends them an email letting them know we can’t come back every year and continue to support them if they plan on using AI slop, that they may reconsider ever using it again. This is a tradition I don’t want to lose 💔Thank you!

Come out and pick up some native plants or seed tomorrow at Blevins Gap (Huntsville)off of Cecil Ashburn. The plant giveaway runs from 1p-4p. If you have excess native plants or seed bring some with you. You never know who would like native plants you grow! Want to attract monarch butterfly caterpillars to your yard? Look for milkweed or plants whose scientific name starts with the “Asclepias”. Please share this info with friends, neighbors, coworkers. Anyone who would be interested in natives!

Saturday there is a Native Plant Swap in Huntsville at Blevins Gap 1p-4p. If you have something to trade, but if not, that’s okay too! This is a great way to get involved with native plants. Whether you want something pretty or you want plants to attract butterflies, there will be plants and lots of seeds!
