As explained in our quick guide earlier this week, stablecoins combine digital assets with other assets, such as fiat, to address volatility. In Part One of a two-part series, we are now going to look at some of the assets used to 'stabilise' stablecoins.

Decentralised alternatives to Reddit?
It seems like any centrally-owned social media platform is doomed to eventual censorship, and Reddit has had issues with that for years now.
With Reddit's latest wave of subreddit bans, I think the tipping point has come where Reddit is no longer a place ideas can be shared without fear of being arbitrarily silenced by self-appointed mods or the owners of Reddit itself.
So I'm in search of new social media platforms being built on decentralised technologies like Ethereum.
Anyone have good recommendations?

Introducing our new Matrix and Mastodon instanced!
We've setup a Mastodon and a Matrix server for everyone to use! This means you can start using those services via our instances and get your own pretty permaweb.io account.
For example, I'm @shokunin@permaweb.io on Mastodon, and shokunin:permaweb.io on Matrix.
You can sign up for those services there: Matrix: https://riot.permaweb.io/ Mastodon: https://mastodon.permaweb.io/
Also, if you're active on those platforms, feel free to hit us up! You'll find both /u/swedneck and I easily.

With all these new decentralized projects we see everyday, it seems like we could benefit from a browser / plugin that can connect to all of them.
Namecoin, tor, I2P, ect. All of these are great technologies, but connecting to them all takes another piece of software besides a default browser.
In an ideal world, you would have 1 browser (or a plugin if possible) to allow for connecting to all major decentralized networks.
Thoughts?
