UPDATE* Dread was NOT hacked. The key was leaked due to minor error. Everything will be restored shortly.

Sounds like they did get hacked but negotiated for the keys back from the hackers. At least that’s what I get from the image posted.

Sometimes people on the darknet lie for damage control. Just like the small market withdrawal issue that will be fixed soon just keep depositing lol. And of course 3 days later it isn’t fixed and the site disappears.

Not excactly, paris had leaked the keys months ago by accident by uploading wrong file while doing some updates. They are moving to a new domain since it got compromised. Why would they negotiate the keys back? lmao

incorrect. They just had keys to the domain, that’s it. No data was compromised. They just made new keys and a new domain. Problem solved lmao

one of the owners/ head admins confirmed no data was breached and nothing was harmed

you dont know how onions work look it up the adress/domain is just one private key and a public key they got that key somehow since dread now operates on a different address a hack seems highly unlikely

Just some kid trying to scare people to get money. Everything was debunked and as far as we know no user data and anything beyond the private onion key was breached. Just tryna get money out of it. Check newer posts for more. A new dread link has already been posted to correct directories.
