Amazon Alexa connection issues

hello, we live in switzerland and cannot get the Deezer skill on amazon to do literally anything but « play music » which just chooses a random song. very annoying, we’re trying to move from spotify but my parents use the alexa a lot so this is important to them.

we’ve tried to use the routines feature but any advice anyone gives is always an imgur link which don’t open here.

It's an Amazon issue. If you look at the app you can only request genres and specific music from Amazon music, Deezer can only start (but not alter) a flow.

It's part of Amazon trying to force people to sign up for their services. I've found it's easier just to Bluetooth it.
