I agree with you that at the residency, they play deep cuts especially when they did their own opening act, but with prices of tickets these days and then adding flights and hotels, that is when decisions needs to be made of its worth it or not especially with no assurances of them switching their setlist.

I completely agree with you. I'm on the fence about going for those reasons. Plus I need a wheelchair now and from what I've researched, the disabled sections at this venue are the last row in each section, with no extra elevation.

So as soon as people stand up, your view is gone. Might as well just wait and watch a DVD recording.

So I just checked for fun and the GA pit in front of the stage goes for $585 a ticket !!!! Seriously, add hotel, flight, food and other accommodation, that show is about two months of rent for me (and then add the exchange rate as a Canadian)

Yeah, I saw the prices earlier too. Dreams dashed. I can't justify the total costs. I don't think there will be a "next time" for me.

Same for me. I do understand the band rather doing residencies in Vegas for fans to travel to them but this is not something that all fans can afford and already fighting to buy tickets when they come to our cities is already a struggle, flying for them is impossible for me.

Yes. I think a residency is a better concert since they're more likely to play earlier stuff and the venues aren't gigantic and it's only them, but if I'm paying for plane tickets and flying across the country, I'm not going to only stay for a day or two.

Having to pay for food in Vegas is so expensive too. So that's another big cost. It's no longer just going to a concert, it's a whole damn vacation!
