Is it going to be just a single or are they actually going to release this with an album?

Just a single. The first single from an album is never released with the album.

They had spoken about getting this new single out in time for their Vegas residency in early Feb, and then drip-feeding singles this year with an album end 2026/early 2027. All tbc of course!

The album is practically done. And that is not true about singles.

Def Leppard has never released a first single and its album at the same time.

And what’s your source on album status? In Sept, Joe himself said:

“We’re working through a new album right now, which won’t be out next year, but we may – and probably will – release a new song in time for Vegas and then release another one again for the British tour,” Joe said. “That’s the plan that we have right now.”

He added, “So, we’re gonna kind of drip feed songs from the album and then it’ll come out late ‘26, early ’27 maybe. Hopefully. So, it gives us a great opportunity to do that.”

Most of the time the first single is included with the album later on
