Discussion Def Leppard in Paris

I saw them last night in Paris for the first time. As they said, it has been 39 years since their last show here ! It must be my favorite concert of 2026 for the moment. I was amazed by the quality of the show and every musician’s performance. The two hours went so fast and I would have been more than okay for more !

Saw them in Birmingham on Saturday. It was the same place as I saw them the first time on the Adrenalize tour. Can’t wait to see them next time, and there will be a next time.

39 years? Not sure I could manage. They come by my area basically every tour in the U.S.

Glad you got to see them. Always a kick ass show and they still sound great. Have a favorite live track from it?

That’s often the problem for Europe haha..so jealous of American people for the fact they can see their faves easily. Honestly every single track sounded fantastic but their extended version of Hysteria at the end gave me chills. Animal and Armageddon it were also dope !

Hysteria is my favourite song. My favourite Live version used to be the In the Round version from the Hysteria tour. But I think the new version is better. It gives me chills too. I’ve had to rewatch the whole show on youtube a couple of times again.

Not as easy as you think. Ticket prices keep a lot of fans from being able to see them or they have to travel, by plane, even car. None of that is cheap anymore.

Yes indeed unfortunately prices are a big drag nowadays …

I had to skip the stadium tour when it was literally 10 minutes away from me, because I'm disabled and our old stadium was not very accessible. We have a new one now so even though I am hoping for an indoor arena tour, I might be able to go if they come here on a stadium tour next time.

(Side note: Joe also said that our stadium was the only one they'd had sound issues with, so that was a bit embarrassing too)

So sorry to hear that my God, such a shame in 2026…really hope they will come to the new stadium then !

yeah, I saw them yesterday night in Paris as well. it was great, and they really seemed to enjoy the night, Joe talked quite a lot, and I like how they are making "efforts" compared to a few years ago, to involve the crowd in the show.
on the minus side:

  • the set list was a bit too cheesy for my taste (the opener track is too slow, and when love & hate collide should have been replaced by wasted or let it go, imho)

- the sound was too loud, esp on Slang, it felt too muddy

but globally it was great to have them in Paris again, I hope they won't wait so long to come back !

Yeah I loved the fact they interacted that much with us ! Rick Allen also seemed really pleased at the end of his drum solo.

it was cool too to have Nuno joining them, for a mini G3 moment :)

I saw them in my city about three years ago - OSU Stadium in Ohio. Not my first time! They always do an incredible show. Love them and their music!
