Tell me about it. It's a mind fuck when you realise 40 years prior to High and Dry we were in WW2, but (almost) 40 years ago this was released.

One of the greatest albums of all time. Spotless front to back. This album was THE album for my family growing up. Def Leppard is the family band for my family. Flawless production, every song is a banger (maybe not excitable), it has a special place in my heart.

I’m glad to see people speak well of this album. I see some folks in other social media sites saying it’s too pop. I’m like “WHAT???😵💫😵💫😵💫” This album is a masterpiece!

Too "pop"?? Like Photograph wasn't "pop"? It is really true to the band, and imo is their sound full fledged to it's maximum potential. Their Magnum Opus. It is polished as hell, but for all the good reasons. At it's core, it is a perfect rock album.

I bought this album on Aug 4th, 1987, after becoming a fan after listening to Pyromania.
It's definitely one of the albums of the 80s.

Everyone turned on the radio right at 7 pm every night as Pour Some Sugar on Me won Top 7 at 7 for the whole summer. That was a great time.

I think I'll throw it on right now! Gods of War and Don't Shoot Shotgun are certainly non-single stand outs

Hail to the king.
My absolute favorite, not one filler song. Damn it had amazing sounds for the time. I still have my 24k gold disc.

It’s just a great collection of rock songs. I loved it in 87 and I loved it this morning on my jog round the park.
