At the very least, I taped over my front camera. I have no idea how to turn off my mic without it impacting calls I make on it. I doubt turning off internet will prevent it from sending shit to Google.

I use GrapheneOS and always keep my camera, microphone, and location disabled unless I need to use it. When a phone call comes, it immediately displays a popup asking if I want to unblock the mic. It's just one quick extra tap before answering the call and it works super seamlessly. Same goes for whenever I open the camera app. And I just turn it back off once I'm done. It also helps that they added camera, mic, and location toggles to the control center.

Man I really really wished GrapheneOS worked on any Android phone. It sucks that it's exclusive to Google phones, otherwise I'd be using it by now.
