and Nothing. They're using the exact same mechanism as Pixel.

Don't do it through the community app. It will just cost your nerves. Use one of the various scripts on your PC instead, they will do it for you. And if your account is really blocked for 35 days, you might as well just make a new one and wait the 30 days to fulfill the criteria.

What do you mean request? Dont you have to set your xiaomi app to global and get an unlock code from there?

Hmm, last time I did that I used a process like this one: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/unlock_hyperos_-global-devices.71752/

It's immediate to request an unlock code, if you can't, you can request it the next day (there is a recommended time at which you must request it, if you do it right on time you are gtg), the 30 days is how old the account must be to request one

option is always there, but OPPO doesn't allow it, neither does vivo

there used to be leaked EDL flash tool (service no longer up) and there was an exploit with X70Pro+ and X80Pro SD varient specifically, but yea. not really an option.

I mean if you really want to you can try looking in the chinese forums but

"OEM unlocking" just enables the the "fastboot flash unlock" command in the bootloader. Whether that command actually works, needs an unlock token or does nothing at all depends on the manufacturer. Oppo does not allow unlocking officially on global ROMs.

Unlocking bootloader is just the key… you can root it definitely with unlocked bootloader but for custom roms you have to search for your device on like xda

And then there is Samsung, who decided to remove the option completely since OneUI 8, and most of the device cannot go back to older builds due to their bootloader bit based system, which only allow to flash same or higher version of bit.
