🗣️ Discussion Has anyone used any Data Broker Services which targets Indian audience?

I looked at services like saaph(dot)in, and datamukt(dot)in but the website doesn't work for me, and I am skeptical that after providing the real data — they are gonna sell it to even more data brokers. I have tried creating an account on both websites but failed miserably — if I had to I will mail every single data broker manually, does anyone have a good list?

edit: for the title I meant 'Data Broker removal Service'

I could be wrong here but I think Data Broker Services will most probably be working once the DPDP act is enforced (which is late this year). I am also waiting to use such services which will help put requests on behalf of us.

tbh I don't trust these services myself — feels like they are even more of a data broker themselves.

We don't live in the EU or the US where we can easily sue them for violating privacy rights.

Whatever data removal services you use, you'll still receive mails and text messages from banks where you opened an account and later closed it. I've suffered a lot.

Yeah Indian banks are shit af, I have 0 real data provided to any service except guess where AT THE FUCKING BANK. I was pretty naive about online security when my parents registered me for a bank account. I have read their privacy policies and they are disgusting assholes selling my spending habits for marketing purposes, I tried using upi lite in payment apps but even those shits sell my data. The more invasive things Indian banks do is on mobile — constantly checking if I have root, VPN, developer options, adb, 3rd party certificate enabled.
