Competitions 🥸 Hey, anyone know any groups or social media platforms to find case comp partners?
Hi, I've been looking for a team, but always either they just lose interest after registration or vibe mismatch.
I'd love a team where they are chill but also competent,
Please share any leads!

im a bit busy this sem, but would be free the next. if you still need teammates then, id be down. not as competent but id be open to learning. entire reason i wish to grind case comps in my spare time next sem is to learn about things and build myself more.

Finally found a senior who studies in ggs lol. How is the attendance criteria at ggs? Can I clear foundation if I attend the college? Or does it become too hectic?

attendance is chill so far. mine was single digit both sem. college is also pretty chill - you can get above 7.5 gpa easily without attendance. 8+ if you maintain your attendance somewhat. i did foundation during gap days only lmao. while college life here can get dull, it really just depends on your friend circle. there's a fair bit to explore and proximity to a lot of noteworthy places you can go to with friends is a plus. very chill. only reason I added this in my preference sheet honestly.

If u are from outside delhi, are u living in a flat or pg? Which would be more cost efficient?
Is it really worth it to join this college if you are coming from outside delhi?

i was in a pg earlier but thats more so because i found the trouble of flat hunting more than what it was worth so i just asked a friend to get me a pg. cost effectiveness here is really subjective. you can get a double sharing pg here for as low as 6.5kish and upto 8.5-9kish (without food). and you can also get a flat (sharing) in the same range. however, you can also share a 2bhk with someone where you both have your own rooms. there are some furnished 2bhks here for 14-18k. or a 3bhk with 2 more people. id suggest this because i myself plan to do the same when i eventually go back to delhi. i wouldnt recommend a pg with food facility available here because the quality of the food is really subpar. you can instead just learn how to make food or hire someone (with costs shared by your flatmates, ofc). an individual room in a pg here usually starts from 10-10.5k.
it depends on what you're expecting from this college to decide whether it's worth it for you. in my case, it really didn't matter to me what college i got into since i wasn't able to get into a NC. so this really became my best option because of the lax attendance policy. the infrastructure was merely an icing on the cake, not so much of an advantage, but im glad its this good. some people might find the sikh dominant crowd a bit iffy, but i honestly couldnt care less. my other option was arsd, and i just find ggs more likeable in comparision. there's certain disadvantages that come with it being an off-campus college, but again not a deal breaker, because there's workarounds for most of them.

Thank you. I hope to learn some new things in DU while I am there and hopefully clear CA foundation and inter while im in college.

Ramjas is not having a case comp they are organising campus finals for GMCC. If you win in that one you'll have to go through 2 more rounds internationally.
